So glad I found this. I'm in a cover band, and for the life of me I could not pick out what the bass was doing. I'm just that bad with pitch :(. This video will help a lot. Thanks!
@hardrockalt Me too. I'm a deaf bassist so these videos really help me learn to play my favorite songs. I can't identify pitch or notes by ear so don't feel bad.
@Defmusicman1 I am very glad to hear someone benefited from it - all these bass vids are from when I first learned them - I can play them smoother now - just been lazy about replacing the vids - I'll get around to it ;)
@BamBamTheDrummer Thanks. I've got the verses and chorus down, I think. I've still gotta work on the bridge and guitar solos because the video is slightly out of focus and a bit dark so it's hard to tell exactly what notes are being played. But it's still the best bass cover I've seen so far.

Def use whatever bass suits your taste. I love the Jazz, but I also have a Yamaha BB300 that I still love since 1989.
I try to give the basic bass lines with whatever trademark licks I hear - but of course make it your own!
