Yah I'm a Duke fan and also a huge Three Days Grace fan, and dude if you don't already have it you have to get the live at the palace DVD they sound great live I've seen them twice. Other then Breaking Benjamin they have been my fav band.
Top to bottom (not including walkons) I think this team is better than that other team, but if they played vs. each other then Worthy, Jordan, and Perkins would murder them.
I would say that is a fair arguement plus going into this season I vastly underestimated UNC I knew they would be good but Lawson and Green have gotten so much better this is a completely different team, having said that I don't know why Ellington doesn't look improved at all.

Yah Michigan is getting better and better, they have a great coach but there really is no excuses they just wanted it more then Duke did that day, it also didn't hurt that Duke was like 3 for 5000 from behind the arc that day. Plumlee and Ryan Kelly will be better bigs then LT, Zoubeck, and McClure two of which are 6-8 where as Plumlee and Kelly are both over 6-10 and versitale as it gets, and I think the Plumlee we currently have will get better. And as far as players I can't wait to graduate that would defiantly be Hansbrough if I have to hear another season of how hard this guy plays every position I'm going to beat my brains out.

Ok basically to put it soundly Hansbrough stepped in the Costner's space and thought better of it for his team, but being pissed doesn't make you a dirty player. And as far as Henderson that thing with Hansbrough wasn't intentional in my opinion he was probably pissed off and was going for the block maybe with a little contact and it got out of control, if it really didn't bother him he would have never called Ellington and asked for Hansbrough's phone number so he could call and apologize.

Actually it's good to see that type of response from a big time player. It's great to see the passion, regardless of how many games he's played or buzzer beaters he's made. I would say that is a fair arguement plus going into this season I vastly underestimated UNC I knew they would be good but Lawson and Green have gotten so much better this is a completely different team, having said that I don't know why Ellington doesn't look improved at all.

Yea, if anything Ellington almost looks worst. Hopefully he will get it together. Green was looking good, but everyone looked fairly rusty in that Oral Roberts game. All I have to say is thank god it was Oral Roberts. That's what such a long break will do something.

I didn't see the Oral Roberts game but I know alot of heel fans I talked to weren't happy. And yah I hate the exams period during Dec. the damn games are so far apart. One I'm sure it got into Duke's head vs Michigan and two it had been 11 days before yesterday since they played last and as you know being a fellow game hungry fan that, that is too fucking long!!

Yea, I completely ignored the NCAA for the period UNC was off for. Then my best friend calls me (he is a Duke fan) and tell me that Michigan beat them. I had no idea, but they are a pretty good team. They beat UCLA as well and you split with them, so eh. Hansbrough just broke Ford's record. I can't wait until March Madness. That is always great. I had a little bit of March Madness when I saw the highlights from that Syracuse-Cleveland St. game. I thought St. had blown it and then....miracle!!

Yah Michigan is getting better and better, they have a great coach but there really is no excuses they just wanted it more then Duke did that day, it also didn't hurt that Duke was like 3 for 5000 from behind the arc that day. I really hope Duke sometime this year reverts away from the arc so much. And yah I saw that he broke Ford's record he will probably get JJ's also unless he gets injured, I also heard Hansbrough was like 11th or 10th right now all time on FT's taken and will possibly be # 1

Yea, I think he needs a couple more to take 9th in FTs. J.J. gave him advice about breaking the record and later said he can't think of a better person to break his record. Both great players. That kid Elliot Williams will hope you alot next year. I knew coming in he would be something good. I just can't wait until Paulus leaves. He is one of two Duke players that I hate. All the rest are fine and don't bother me. Michigan knows how it feels to play against the ACC. Fab five got slapped

yah the fab five got slapped twice once by Duke and then UNC. And yah I think Elliot will really break out next year he will get more minutes becaus Paulus is gone, and I don't know why so many people hate Paulus, I love the guy he has a ton of heart and get hit the long ball. And who is the second? And as far as Sheldon Williams type player I don't know if it will ever happen again, Duke seems to run a Mike D'antoni style offense now so your centers are more like PF's but I would say Mason.....

Plumlee and Ryan Kelly will be better bigs then LT, Zoubeck, and McClure two of which are 6-8 where as Plumlee and Kelly are both over 6-10 and versitale as it gets, and I think the Plumlee we currently have will get better. And as far as players I can't wait to graduate that would defiantly be Hansbrough if I have to hear another season of how hard this guy plays every position I'm going to beat my brains out.

Paulus flops all the time and just has the aura about it. I don't want to start an argument with that, but that's how I see it. The other is Henderson...I don't want to get in an argument about him either though, so I wont say why. D'antoni had that stud Amare back with the Suns though. You don't think Tyler plays hard (jw)? Ryan Kelly might be good, but he is the ugliest guy I've ever seen. I can't wait to see John Henson for us. That dude is going to be nasty.

The Centers are more like PF's via Amare more of a PF having to play C just because of D'antoni's offense hints Eddy Curry never had a chance. Zellar doesn't look bad, but Kelly is just horrid. I really am not sure what you are talking about with us flopping. I don't see it. I've seen Deron Washington jump off Paulus without touching him and he flopped. Not only the Henderson-Hansbrough thing, but also the fact that he is pretty dirty. He tries to be dirty vs. WVU and gets trucked. All our starters weren't in and you fouled Hansbrough couldn't get out for the sake of getting fouled.

I don't believe that Coach K made th call. That is ridiculous and I respect Coach K because he is a great coach and wouldn't ever do something like that, but it was pretty stupid asking why he was in the game. He was in the game and you fouled him and then fouled him again....hard, but whatever. I don't really care enough. The Cameron Crackheads are the most annoying fanbase out there honestly. I wasnt saying K question Hansbroughs being in the game, I said it probably registered through Henderson's mind and that thing about WVU was the bigger drama then it should have been, really Henderson again was probably mad and when he got truck sticked he didnt do anything about it he took it like a man, players get mad when Tyler took his sissy slap at Costner from state that doesn't mean Tyler is a dirty player, he was just pissed. I have seen Brandon Costner and he isn't that much bigger than Hansbrough. Like I said, if Hansbrough was going to hit him then he would've. That was just him swinging his arms in disgust of the play. Not him trying to throw a slap in on the guy. Either way I don't really care. Costner hasn't been a good player since around his freshmen days. On to Henderson: that hit on Hansbrough was pretty dirty and so was the one in the WVU game. If I see much more from him then I may start to believe.

Ok basically to put it soundly Hansbrough stepped in the Costner's space and thought better of it for his team, but being pissed doesn't make you a dirty player. And as far as Henderson that thing with Hansbrough wasn't intentional in my opinion he was probably pissed off and was going for the block maybe with a little contact and it got out of control, if it really didn't bother him he would have never called Ellington and asked for Hansbrough's phone number so he could call and apologize.

He said "Well what was Hansbrough doing in the game". Doesn't make sense because Henderson was their 6th man back then, so why was he. Also, why was Coach K calling timeouts with 50 secs left if the game was over. K is a great coach, but that didn't make much sense to me.

yah I know, I think we could be very good this year and really good next year, I think next year might be our year depending on some development and who leaves this year, which I really only think the two players from Duke who might leave are Henderson and Singler. But I don't think either are ready but this draft is so weak they could go high.

Yea, I don't think either are ready. Henderson has alot of promise, but has yet to amount to it (no offense). Singler, he is a good player. All around really. I can see them both going in the first round this year, but probably no that high. If Henderson goes high then it's because that team is taking a big chance. I can't wait until Henderson is gone, but I hope Singler stays. He is a Duke player, but I think he is quite talented and I don't dislike him. Therefore, I would like him to stay.

Plus, my man Steve Johnson (51) was playing at the time. He plays in maybe three games a year, so I think coach K had given up by that point. None of Duke's other players were starters either.
