Very proud to be Canadian, and to have 'In Flanders Fields' written by a Canadian. Bless the troops until I can be out there with them to protect my brothers in arms
@NaffiFIRE yes.. and he even got 13 year old kids to fight for him and i feel really sorry for all the Jewish people that got killed and the Nazi's that wanted to fight with him can fucking go burn with him.
Wow! Amazing video! It's one of the best videos I've ever seen. You did a great job matching the images, words, and music. Very moving. Please make more!
In Flanders Fields, by John McCrae. The poem was written upon a scrap of paper upon the back of Colonel Cosgrave, in the trenches, during a lull in the bombings on May 3, 1915, after he witnessed the death of his friend, Lieutenant Alexis Helmer, the day before.
What you put together is art and i truly respect that. people like you with artistic minds to respect our fore fathers and mothers are the peopel we can rely on for a more secure future.
I also have a question could you tell me the name of the hymn you used for this video
I can see you liked Band of Brothers... AN amazing film.
and that video is AMAZING keep up the good work... I'll probably join you and make another film winter, but i'm too busy now. But yeah, keep up the great work.
You gave me 5 Stars, and I give you 6. That was a moving tribute. I would suggest that you email it to all VFW Organizations and the Gold Star Mothers. They appreciate our tributes. We just returned from the Vet Day Tribute in Atlanta, and having served from '71-'77, these days make up for the welcome we never received. Not that we expected one, but we did not expect to be spat upon. Bless our troops, and may they come home safe. Stormsurge
Brilliant video and well done. Very fitting especially for a day like today. It's nice to see young people such as yourself pay tribute to our soldiers - past, present and future. For if it was not for our soldiers we would not be able to exercise our freedoms as we do each and everyday (i.e. YouTube) May God ALWAYS bless our men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces past, present and future.
It is important to remember on this day not only the soldiers that fought for the allies, but all the soldiers who died regardless of their nationality. And it is important to remember the horrors of war and to prevent them from happening again.
Well done.It is a nice tribute to the soldiors who died in my backyard.I think it is very important that the graves near Ieper, and in Flanders Fields in general, are still there. They are kept clean and nice, to honour those brave men.I made a small video, but it's just a pan over one graveyard. Thanks for your pm and the rating, I returned the favour: 5/5, well earned! Cheers!
Beautiful, sadening, emotional, I could go on for hours describing this exemplary video. These are the videos that show that people really do care. Thank you so much for this touching video.
Remarkable! I sit here and cry as I write. The saddest thing of all is the tourch keeps getting tossed. If only we could and would learn that the very best way that we can honour all the courageous men and women who have died in wars is to live in peace. Speak softer words, abandon hatred, and be a respector of every living thing.
beautiful, sad, poetic and haunting. Do we know what was sacrificed for our freedom??? thank you for honoring those who have fought for it. blessings to you.
Excellent tribute to the soldiers who fought for our freedom, fantastic use of an excellent show about world war 2, band of brothers was amazing, but you have done an excellent job to make this into a tribute!
The music is by Danny Elfman and The piece of music used at the end of Edward Scissorhands when he is cutting the ice scupltures and covering the town in snow.
