  • It worked, but the simpleVRML executable size is 75,6 MB. That's too heavy. The Windows version is about 1MB.

    Any idea?

  • hmmm, build a few 3 d models now, working quite well, except for the textures, they sometimes dont work, and also the motion isnt working...? VRML2 is the correct wayy to save he cinema 4d file is ist?

  • yeah I've never got the textures to work on my models. It's quite annoying, If you want to use textures and the like check out OSGART, which uses Open Scene Graph with ARToolKit. Theres a lot of coding involved, because it uses OpenGL coding, but your'll pick it up eventually.

  • I pasted in all the files, but dont know what programm you are opening the "ARtoolKitxcodeproj" with. When you do it it opens, ive just got a folder "ARtoolKitxcodeproj" there with the file "project.pbxproj" in it, can someone help me? I tried everything!!!

  • Have you got xcode installed? If so it should just open in xcode, try right clicking and selecting open with and the xcode.

  • I've got a long way to go..... 121 errors, 5 warnings..

    Done on a Macbook, having installed all prerequisited and following the steps in ultra slowmotion.. It felt to hopefull to see every step match my own windows and lists of files. Unfortunately, no success yet..

  • nope, couldn't get it working, I just downloaded the standard package and the vrml package, plus the libARvrml.a by googling it.

    I have only 5 files on there!!

    after compiling, when i run simpleVRML it quits. any ideas on making it work?

    only thing different in what was happening when i was following your instructions was- when compiling simpleVRML i did not have the "coppying 6 files of 6" message

    any ideas how to make it work?

  • Sorry for the late reply.

    I had that problem before and I never really worked it out.

    Only thing I can suggest is that you do the whole thing over again and make sure you create the other copy files build phase and make sure its set to executables and you put the

    Libboost. libjpeg. libopenvrml,libopenvrml,libpng­.LibSDL

    into it. Other then that I dunno how to help. sorry
