Well i dont much appreciate the stereo type that were dumb copared 2 u Asians its all about when u start i started flying at age 5 and I was asked to fly for circus hobbies by Bill Bennett and his Star pilot Donnie Wietz. Sadly at 10 I followed my dads advice and said no because I didnt want to turn my hobby into a job STUPID But was good for Mr. Chip Hyde the younger you start the easier and faster you learn!! @ddman011 4 channel control has 4 separate controllable functions. For airplanes, that typically means throttle (1), aileron(2), elevator(3) and rudder(4) much like the real airplane. 6 ch is needed to add flap and retract landing gear.

@TheThomass16 The biggest misconception is that, people think he got to where he is with hours of practice each day. :) This is because people assume that everyone has equal abilities and thus require same amount of time to learn something as everyone else. Some stuff he learned with minimal effort, while some others he spent zero effort to acquire. For example, while I'm considered a fast learner, spent about 30 solid hours to learn how to do a maneuver called "pirouetting funnel"

He struggled for about 5 min and on a third circle, he actually started doing it. He took entire 10min to learn something I took one hour each day for a whole months. People in the RC hobby absolutely crave flying or driving, it's like crack, you just can't get enough.
