Hell Yeah... when you brought up Grape Ape... it made me and my homie talk about how when we left that rave you had to pass all the cops in riot gear.... How about the thick ass fog on the way home... Trippin on acid following tail lights home.. You brought back old school memories.. Word

1990-1993 rave years agree big time!!!! After that, it was and will never be the same without that classic Techno, Hardcore, and early house up to 94 95. Your brother knows what's up!
Check out my PowerTools uploads from 1992. More to come as I promised.
richard humpty was my all time fave house dj... that being said, i enjoyed his deep house mixes instead. at this point, hard house was falling off. classic house music forever.
This takes me back all the way to my high school days shit I can't belive it has been that long. back in 93 when we used to go to empty wherehouses. and after parties in hollywood wouldn't get home untill 5 or 6 am.
I remember the Attic, Strawberry Sundays, Carnival, but all those do not compare to back in the day when he use to play at Elevation circa 1991/1992. That was the days of oldskool Hardcore, Belgium-Amsterdam-UK Classic Techno Rave. Those golden day are to brag about and Power Tools never was the same since.
Heh. I went to club metro when it was about to close, they still had a dj in the 'techno' room but there were only five people there. Most of the people who went to club metro before it went down was there for industrial. :/
I grew up in the IE party scene, crews like TYO, DOGs, Crooks, Asylum, SOM, Red Zone, Rebel Alliance...wow wow wow!!! memories!!!! My eyebrows...plucked. My jeans....old ass 501's that were 8 sizes too big with a big ass harley davidson belt buckle that i shoplifted from melrose. Razor edge fades friday afternoon so that im ready for the weekend.

Shout out to all the old skool party peeps in the rebel days, let those days forever live on in our hearts!
PS I'm now a surgery resident which means that the party scene isnt for idiots and losers, it was a way of life, a culture, a beautiful thing...

Heh. I went to club metro when it was about to close, they still had a dj in the 'techno' room but there were only five people there. Most of the people who went to club metro before it went down was there for industrial. :/

Club Carnival downtown LA
The ARENA!! (hahah good times there)
I grew up in the IE party scene, crews like TYO, DOGs, Crooks, Asylum, SOM, Red Zone, Rebel Alliance...wow wow wow!!! memories!!!! My eyebrows...plucked. My jeans....old ass 501's that were 8 sizes too big with a big ass harley davidson belt buckle that i shoplifted from melrose. Razor edge fades friday afternoon so that im ready for the weekend.
