i use oils on my hair when its curly... oils when flat ironing hair only frys the hair ... im pretty sure its not a heat protectant... those oils have heat protecting properties, but once you apply that much heat (cooking heat) .. thats when you fry the hair.... (beautiful hair non the less)

@Chocolatel0vr this was my first time, i read some reviews of other poeple straightening their hair with grapeseed oil and they were please so i decided to go for it and give it a try, before you try test out a small section of hair then wash it let it dry and if u dont think it cause any damage then proceed to starighten your whole hair. Maybe video response :)

@mimituico i bought mine at the mall and it works really well! i search online where it can be bought and i found that folica.com have the line and they come in a variety of colors, its current rating on folica.com is a 3.5 star from 6 reviews but i give a 5 star!

Im glad it works for you, but this is not for everybody. I have oily hair and adding more oil to it would be disasterous!

@chantellefashion I Had That Same Question, Grapeseed Oil Has A Heat Resistant Up To 420 Degrees Farenheit After That It would Start Smoking My Hair Straightener Was Set At 200 d. Farenheit I Read A Few Reviews Of People Who Have Tried iT And They Were Satisfied So I Decided To Give It A Tried, The Best Advice If You Would Like To Try It Is To Only Do A Small Section Of Hair And Wash It Examine How Your The Hair, Before You Deciede To Do Your Whole Head, Thank You For Asking :)
