Running red lights

Good to see responses from morons.

The lights are red to ensure vehicles don't block the rail line if the signalised intersection is holding red. Blind Freddy can understand that. Plenty of examples where morons have been crushed and killed because they proceed onto the tracks then have nowhere to go.

Damn good planning if you ask me. Look at Furlong Road St. Albans for what happens if those signals aren't there

it's illegal to cross a red light, ANY red light, perhaps you should read laws more carefully because, that does include railway crossings, they are there for a reason, i agree they might be placed stupidly, but that doesn't give you the right to break the law. Why don't you ask the Police, or vicroads if it's okay? Don't blame the government or the police if you or someone else gets fined.

This video is about drivers driving through the red traffic signal for the road junction after the level crossing signal has ended... I agree it is quite poor to have them next to each other, as naturally drivers will want to proceed when the level crossing cycle has ended.

Then again, most traffic lights are quite poor!
