Mario is also the referee in the game. So if a character plays as Mario then referee Mario wears blue. Otherwise he's red.

how did you get 2 players to work i can play with ps3 controller and set player 2 to the key board but it wouldnt work

Which input plugin do you use? For the second player make sure you check the controller is plugged in checkbox.

Try Nrage's input plugin. You may have better luck with that. If it still doesn't work, you can report it at the pj64's forum or ngemu forums.

erm, Hi :D I haven't used emulators or anything before so I'm not to sure on how it all works :\ . What are you using to control the characters? Surely you can only use a keyboard :S?

Yes you can use the keyboard, but only 2 people could play it then.

We used gamepads while one friend played on the keyboard.

like how did you not get the little black screens and black blocks Cause when I play it it has black screens and blocks all over the place!

I use Jabo Direct3D8 1.6 with project 1.6

Go to the graphics plugins settings. Uncheck the Hide advanced settings checkbox. Then go to the advanced tab in the graphics plugin's settings and check the Force alpha blending checkbox. That should get rid of those black boxes.

thanks for the useful information,but how to make the game faster?

it goes reaaaaaaly slow and that is realy annoying those black blocks arent so annoying like that slow gameplay

help me please is that of the computer configuration?

other games arent going slow only that game

You could try a different rom version. I only tried the Japanese rom.
