I completed Orbitus L2 on Turbo in the CD version. One of the greatest gaming successes of my life I think. Been attempting it since I was about 7 years old, and finally succeeded at 19. It's a bug I know because on the floppy version it is easy. There are a few bugs like that in the CD version, for instance you shouldn't be able to keep the airboard to the end of the level in Medivo, it should drop out reasonably soon after you get it. That's why there are all the springboards later on.
Just to let everyone know, something went wrong with this rip. It doesn't sound right. This is most noticeable at the part at 1:49. For comparison, listen to "JazzJackRabbit 1 Soundtrack (Part 3) ".
I actually finished this map on the CD version once, the window of opportunity is so broken small however that I only managed to do it in time on medium.
I played CD version from the first release. No prob with that level. Hovever I hated that eve thing. And after that it was something worse... burger planet xD
Enjoyable game, I loved it much, just like holiday Hare.
@kravorzlair Dude it can be done. Use SloMo (T) - on the first nasty gap jump all the way through and hope you come out jumping (if not try again, and again) then on the second one, jump as you come into the area then turn hard back on yourself and bounce off the left hand wall. Under no circumstances hit the floor. Then as you bounce off the wall you have to tap the down key for just the right amount to direct you into the hole. Persevere.
This level was never a problem in the floppy version. It's just a stupid bug introduced in the CD version, the ENDS of the jump bars were not supposed to make you jump.
This music reminds of Techno Mario or something. I have never actually played this game before. My five year old game was "Pajama Sam!" Haha, this music is still pretty cool.
I can feel teh funk in this game.... Thanks 90's! :D

I wish someone would download Marbelara. The only video I can get of it is when its mixed with a bunch of other Jazz Jackrabbit tunes.

does anyone know where i can find the mp3's for this game?
OZZYRULES200 2 years ago
I think you can get them in .mod format you can copy them to mp3 with a program called audacity I believe.
Alexoneil 2 years ago
ok i'll try that and see what happens. i think that someone should release this soundtrack on itunes because i would pick it up.
OZZYRULES200 2 years ago
Cool =)
I like that game.
Sound reminds me an AMiGA computers =)
But on PC it required expensive (for that time) Soundblaster to play music, and on the AMiGA there was already soundchip built in.
Why so cool game was never released on AMiGAs?? =(

One of the hardest levels in cd version! I hate that jumping thing. It is impossible!
LordiOxKalmaKita 2 years ago 11
Not if you're a five year old and you are jumping randomly.

@LudicusMaximus Not like I was ever that person... (>_>)

It is possible, without randomness. But seriously... this glitch sucks.
Muzozavr 2 years ago
Luckily I've found my old floppy version so now it's much easier! xD
LordiOxKalmaKita 2 years ago
@LordiOxKalmaKita it was very easy actually, you just had to jump at the edge on the first run and hold jump and right until you get to the end xD

Phew, finally managed to complete this little asshole in the CD version -- I used slow motion though. I don't think anyone can do it at full speed.
