I think it is symbolism and foreshadows the events that happen in RE remake. like that the virus isn't gone or that the whole thingis far from over.

Butterflies usually symbolize continuing life, which means that the virus/evil was far from dead. Which is basically hella true.

very good, i've read it 3 times already. it's a good book for anyone who has or hasn't played RE0 on gamecube. I'd definitely recommend it :)
