the iphones facetime puts any androids video calling to shame, androids is laggy and very crappy! facetime is excellent quality even on 3g

@ant0n321 Facetime runs over wifi... android video calls run over 3g/4g (3g in this vid) = bigger latency and lower quality vs facetime. If facetime ran over 3g/4g it would probably be as good as android...

@dolph123454321 If you only knew, once the iphones jailbroken it can run over wifi or 3g its your preference... and mine is.and by the way, over att's 3g network it works better than on sprints/verizons 4g network :) the quality is just better period.

I am thinking about buying a Samsung Galaxy S i9000 too. Can you tell me more about your video call test? What type of software did you use to make the video call? It did not look like Skype. Also, can you video call any phone or does it have to be another Samsung Galaxy?

@Jamesm067 Ive tried making one to an Iphone 4 and a message appears saying "out of 3g coverage" havent been able to try out a video call on mine yet. not sure if it has to be another samsung or another galaxy :/

iphone4 can only make video calls to other iphone4 (and possibly ipod touch) phones only, and can only be done over a wi-fi connection.

@grumhellscream video call is built into the phone. u have an option to video call the person when u have started an ordinary call.

@shezFreshhh you should do. before u phone someone u should have things like "send a message" as well as "make a video call" as two buttons at the bottom of the screen. try going into your contacts to phone someone instead of just dialling the number..
