  • wow....check out the wallpapers!

  • @OurManFIint That's 1966 for you. :)

  • "Quit talking about it and come and get me, you gutless wonder!"

    Seriously, I just ♥ McGill.

  • @sunnydreamsgirl He is one superb tough guy. One of the best on TV. I don't blame you for liking him. ;)

  • @Banner1979 It'd be pretty hard to not like him -- mumbly voice, perpetual cigarrette, cool understated manner, silver hair...plus mad fighting skills! I still can't figure the title though. When I first heard of Man in a Suitcase, I expected something rather campy and over-the-top!

  • @sunnydreamsgirl He's called that because that's all he has - his suitcase. He has no home, nowhere to settle down, he's always travelling and stopping at hotels and other accommodations with his suitcase his only companion. Bradford was a fan of Marlon Brando and even starred with him in a film called The Chase which led him to be cast as Mac.

  • @Banner1979 I've sort of gathered that from watching these few episodes, but it still isn't the best title in the world. The Chase sounds familiar, but I personally cannot handle watching Marlon Brando. He bothers me. ;D

  • @sunnydreamsgirl Maybe a better one would have been McGill or The Bounty Hunter (as that's what it was). Even so, it was a cool action show that was set in England. Marlon Brando was one of the best actors of his generation. It's okay if you don't like him, but Bradford said it was a pleasure working with him and that he was fond of his acting style, i.e. the method style where actors don't just act out roles, they become their characters.

  • @Banner1979 McGill probably would have worked well -- but I generally think of shows by the main character's name anyway! I'm fairly pleased with the British espionage series I've seen, outside of The Avengers. It's simply too quirky!

  • @sunnydreamsgirl I agree *lol*. Quite weird and not very conventional. It was more of a fantasy action series, wasn't it? Thank goodness MIAS wasn't like that. It was a harder, grittier kind of show which featured a no-nonsense lead, great fights and interesting plots.

  • @sunnydreamsgirl

    Ahhh, Emm...we meet again! ;-D

  • @ILoveRayMilland Eeek! You found my NEW account! Not like that was very hard -- I'm so unoriginal. The name was a dead giveaway! Haha!

This is completely beside the point, but we need to have an epic discussion on Ray Milland one of these days. Currently, he's my favoritest actor. (And I rather have you to thank for that!) ;D

  • @sunnydreamsgirl YES. WE DO. That is seriously exciting news. The Magnificent Mr. Milland is so much brilliance! Haha!

  • @ILoveRayMilland Indeedy! I mean, he was even good in Bulldog Drummond Escapes! And it was really B-movieish!
