Corporate..is a good thing...instead of you making a bussiness...by your own hand...just invest some in the corporate Company...but the share will be depend on your wallet..Corporate means strong finance....and run with people money from around the world......but if they goes down...we go down together...yiiihaaaaa......bungee jumping......

Question for people in the know: How can auto gas station lose money and eventually close for good ? I always auto gasoline stations made money: Just a person seeking knowledge.
Eventually, all you are going to have is Petrol style ATM's in a car park, and the price will be controlled by some dude on Wall St while he slurps down Frappacino. And later automatically linked to the Stock Market so the price can change +- 10 cents in a few seconds. I don't think this day is that far Off, 2-5 years, it will happen.
If you think the corporate gas stations are okay, you have never run a mom and pop one. There are no jobs in this country because the small businesses are being put out of biz.
Have you researched who is doing all the demolitions and is buying the land? That might get you closer to figuring out what's going on. Why would they be demolishing buildings and a dead area like that? Is it because the city took over the property because of taxes?
I think it's a good thing- where I live, I have around 6 gas stations close to each other in one area. They are neighbors to each other... it is kind of ridiculous and say it's a waste of space and makes the area rather a very explosive spot.lol
