  • if i should down my macbook pro it goes to standby but yours is on. how you did it ?

  • @62OE62 If you have a macbook pro wired up to an apple display, it should run whilst shut in 'clamshell' mode. If it is not wired to a display, it will go into sleep :)

  • What's ur keyboard?

  • Does your Macbook do not overheat in this mode... cause the cooling is in front of the display isnt it ? and Btw nice setup

  • glass desks really tacky

  • it looks good

  • i agree not really modern

  • What desk is that?

  • How did you set, that when the MacBook is collapsed then it doesn´t go in the standby?

  • @BuZhido100 When you have an external monitor connected to your mac book, it automatically doesn't go to sleep and switches the main display to the external monitor.

  • I love that the iPhone cleaning cloth and drink coaster were pointed out as part of the "office setup" - A+

  • You should use the MBP as well so you can multiplex (have dual monitors)

  • it's not L shaped, it's r shaped.

  • nice hardware setup but all those wires behind the glass desk really take away from the look of a nice glass desk

cleaning up the wires should greatly improve the overall look

  • use the desk beside the TV desk as a microwave stand :D everyone could olways use a pop tart in the middle of the day :D

  • Does it works with the new macbook white?

  • What keyboard are you using?

  • Glass Looks nice but I would never put my mac, display or anything on there.... too many have shattered! Especially if you got that from ikea or walmart. Take it off!

  • Cool story bro........................

  • CABLE MESS! C,MON nowadays we many cable solutions. you have beautiful devices over there so you can try some ikea's solutions for that problem. PS your new monitor kick ass!

  • what type of desk? and whered you buy it from? ive been looking for a desk EXACTLY like that

  • nice..

  • can you tell me where you got your desk? I saw one like it on OfficeMax

  • ur old one is better

  • Looks nice and clean. Thumbs up

  • wire fail

  • Aha i have that TV :) it sukcs right

  • may be a dumb question but how did you move you dock to your extra display, also a good thing to elevate your macbook pro is a Griffin Elevator Stand

  • you should have used the 32 as your macbooks display

  • who cares about your setup as long as the work gets done which it doesnt sound like it will in your case... playstation? two tvs?

  • wait a minute, you got a corner desk facing away from the corner. and your iphone is on the part of the desk where most people would put their displays.

  • get a samsung led tv

  • It's nice

  • you got a lot of spaghetti going on behind your desk

  • what screen size is that mbp? 17 in or 15 in??

  • That was awome :D I want that D:

  • Beautiful. That's all I have to say.

  • Lol same setup =] nice

  • Great vid :) check mine out i have subscribed

    Malik! :)

  • Nice Upgrade Man!

  • glass desks feel cold when you touch it bothers me...

  • This is when I just got the desk. I didn't want to clutter the desk right before I made a video.

  • That doesn't really answer my question, but that infers you actually do something.

So I'll presume you do something, kay? Lucky you.

  • glass wasn't a very good choice IMO...

finger prints, look down at all your wires, and its gets cold to rest your arms on aha IMO..

  • you shouldnt have the macbook pro closed it builds up heat

  • whats ur tv

  • 32" Element Electronics

  • where did u get the desk?

  • glass + wires = NO NO!!!

  • Seriously.. I don't understand why people get glass desks.. do they like looking at their mess of wires??

  • @Cmac787

right but apple doesn't seem to use too much wires at all... just look at the iMac the only cable you need is the power cord! that's it! the mouse is blueooth and the keyboard is bluetooth (since they're both within the box standard now. but i have too agree that wires and glass is a bad combination ;)

  • nice!

  • Nice !

  • Quite tasteless really.

  • same rug i just bought for my room, buy a lg 19 inch good tv hd gaming for xbox or whatever set up i have with my l table and my computer screen on the other side of the L table w/ macbook pro

  • Well you have a setup always.

    But thats what we like

  • U have the TOP TOP of the line Macbook Pro, and a LED Cinema display, i dont thing that tv will harm u..

  • Haha, yeah but I moved my 32" TV already.

  • Lol ;P

  • You got an 17" MacBook Pro with 3.06GHz? (as me)

    ...

Didn't you think the 24" got a to small resolution?, it's the same at the 17" MacBook Pro (1920x1200)..

Apple made me dissapointed at that...

  • It's a 15" model.

  • sweet set-up man, you should put your macbook on the self where your iphone is and then move your LED monitor there your macbook is now ! but great video mate

  • Hey is that desk the Z-Line one? (the L-Shaped one). If so, it looks really nice and I'm thinking of buying one from my friend which is lightly scratched for $50

  • It was an officemax brand.

  • 3.06ghz 21.5'' imac with 4gb of drr3 ram 500gb or macbook pro 13.3'' 2.26 160gb 2gb of drr3 ram or gaming computer

and did you think of buy a mac pro

  • is it not a weird angle for you using your keyboard and mouse

  • I moved my monitor a little more to the left and now it feels much better.

  • nice setup but prepare to wipe/clean your glass often
