Basically, what I'm suggesting is that you should have a subject to your video. You don't need to have an entire script, but I recommend that you have a reasonable idea of what you're going to be talking about. (You can always edit out the extraneous stuff later.)
Talk about something you know. Or something you enjoy. Or something you're good at. Or something that excites or inspires or interests you.
Make the sort of videos that you'd be prepared to "waste" a few minutes of your life watching.
One of my videos was in the "suggested videos" to one of yours. So I came to check it out.
(Needless to say that they aren't similar at all, except tangentially in a "talk a lot" kind of way.)
Anyway, I'm pleased I did. Because you have an easy manner in front of the camera and you're kinda funny. And you're not trying to flash your cleavage at me.....
The problem with "vlogging" is that any idiot with a camera and an internet connection can do it. And most of them are.
Want to do something cool? Break something stupid and then set it on fire. Thrift stores are a great place to find things for such a project. Or, you could build something from instructables. And make fun of Ryan more. That's always cool.
Pleasing people is hard, the space is yours not theirs, you share what you want, that's how it should work in order to leave you with the sensation that you are doing something that satisfies you. I hate to put myself as an example but I generate reviews and articles about movies and music albums because I loved them and want to share the experience without considerating if people likes it or not.

As for giving my comment on what's happening around the world, I could, because I'm very opinionated, but on the other hand, I know NOTHING about the world around me or politics or anything. So it would actually be pretty funny if I went through the news and commented on thing I have no knowledge of.
