Just came across this video. I was just in Tokyo and there is a huge campaign currently under way. At least I think so. The pink ribbon is everywhere and there are dinners and events planned around it. I am guessing that it is the same pink ribbon used for breast cancer awareness that is used in the US. I don't speak Japanese.
Nice to see things turn around in just a couple of years.
@RokinLee This job was through an internship program at my university. I'm not sure about other unpaid work, but I'm sure if you google internships or "volunteer work" in Tokyo you'll find something.
i love those big drumming events i got to see one on my vist to japan it was in July for a summer festival i cant wait to go back japan is truely amazing...aside from the giant hornets lol , love the videos keep it up :)
It was probably one of the weirdest events I've ever been to. Military, sesame street, free beer, earthquake simulation machines, taiko drumming...bizarre.
yeah i totally get the shocked by your own culture... that really looked like America for a second... liked the bikes though... do you realize you eat a Hamburg in almost every vid!!!???lolz
I was realizing that as I was putting this video together. It's like how like almost every single scene that Brad Pitt is in in Ocean's Eleven he is eating. I just like food. And eating. And apparently taping myself while I eat.
Both My parents died of Cancer...Tulio Simoncini...Has found the Cure for Cancer...He just wrote a book Called Cancer is a Fungus and can be cured with Sodium Bicarbinate..Chech out You-tube cancer is a Fungus...To many people are making money off of Cancer..Cancer drugs cost three thousand an injection and my mom ws injected twice a week for months till she died....Dear God please show mankind mercy and allow us to be cured of Cancer by Sodium Bicarbinate.. AMEN
EXCELLENT choice of music!!! It brought a smile to my face!
Yeah, I hear you about being culture shocked within your own culture. I am heading to Seattle on business this Thursday, and since its been nearly 9 months since I've been back in the States, I am usually get some kind of culture shock for the first couple of days. Or as you eloquently put it, "its weird to be around all these Americans being all American-y."

Men can get breast cancer? I did not know that. Drinking while at work... Hell Yeah!

Yes indeed, men can get it. Sure, it's a very small chance, but it does happen. I take advantage of the drinking at work whenever possible. :)
