A firework??? The fuse smoke you see before the blast could either be from a fuse to a blasting cap in the charge, or a fuse to blasting cap in some detonating cord that is in the charge. This is definetly not a firework. The dust is being blown by the wind too. Lastly, a firework could up blow up a rock, unless it is a 12 inch shell full of flash, but I doubt that engineers in Iraq are using fireworks..
