Interesting on how these may vary. I had my first one last night and on a light pour, it had a huge head along with great head retention as well throughout the Bomber! Lacing was full/beautiful as well, mine was perfectly smooth and sweet with almost no heat or booziness to it @ 9.9%...Started cold and finished just slightly cool, but was tasty through all the temp changes! I always set my pallet with something spicy, unless it's an overly sweet beer. So, set your pallet, if your not already!!!
@cschlish Do you know how old yours was? I don't know how old mine was but it tasted fresh. Ive always felt like eating something spicy ahead of time would screw with my taste buds and I wouldn't get a true idea of all the flavors. I'll give it a try tho.
@epicbeerdude Thanks man. Yeah I think it has a lot of potential to get better with age, its hard to find it around here but when I do I'm grabbing a few for the cellar.
I really love this imperial stout. What's the ABV on this? I would guess it's the 9.8% ABV, which varies between 9.6% and 10.14%. I reason that because the 8.2% is a retired beer and has a decent amount of tabacco notes in the taste. By the way great first review. Check out my first one if you want to see how not to do it.... on second thought don't it's bad.Cheers!!!
@drolretfa I cant remember the ABV on this one. I really like it too but cant find it anywhere. its suppose to be a year round brew but I have only ever found it once. Thanks for the kind words man. I will definitely give your first review a peak

@GrizzlyBeerReviews Oh no don't do that. LOL. It is a year round beer. I only know of one place in which I can get it year round though.
