Well, I completely dissagree with you!! The Spin was also introduced in The Wonder Woman comics around the same time the show was in its second season. Diana also used her lasso to change into Wonder Woman as well.The pants were not suitable, same goes for the Cheesy latex ww boots. sorry to say but Adrianne was not a good fit to play the Wonder Woman role. And the executives at NBC realized they had a disaster on their hands if they would have aired the pilot.
IN the current comic books (now called graphic novels) Wonder Woman wears long pants and even Lynda Carter wore scuba diving pants and full wetsuit except for tanks and mask in episodes where she was swimming.

I still find her appearance and outfit very fine but more bold. Hopefully there would be more heavy duty stunts involved than some of those 70's cheesy stunts. No offense, I always admired the original as a grommet. :D

I bet I get downvoted for this, but I think the pants are way better than the shorts. Shorts are really just not practical for fighting crime in the winter months...though, then again, the corset and high heels are NEVER practical for fighting crime.but you know, hey, at least it's step in the right direction, right?

To be honest, I wont be negative on the costume,I hated the first Batman movie as the costume was all black, I disliked the 3 D "S" in Superman Returns. In truth, if you are going to introduce and some cases,re-introduce some well loved characters then as always something has to give. I've taken the view that when comics were the in ting, when a new artist came in, there was always scepticism on how the character would be drawn, so lets see if can work before we trash the poor girls career.

I have the 1993 "Fantastic Four" movie, the unbroadcast "Justice League of America" live-action pilot, "The Star Wars Holiday Special," and various other things, including "Legends of the Superheroes" which is now actually available on DVD.
If you have seen Adrianne Palicki as Tyra Collette on the critcally-acclaimed but little-watched Friday Night Lights you would not be criticizing her. She has some serious acting chops and easily portrays a tough girl with many layers. She is tough. I respect her from her work on Friday Night Lights. Go Adrianne! Ignore the haters.

I know that 's sort of the costume that is in the recent #600 series Wonder Woman DC comic, but I'm not sure if the comic will end up going back to the original, iconic outfit. If the comic does return to the original look, then so should the TV show, eventually.

To be honest, I wont be negative on the costume,I hated the first Batman movie as the costume was all black, I disliked the 3 D "S" in Superman Returns. In truth, if you are going to introduce and some cases,re-introduce some well loved characters then as always something has to give. I've taken the view that when comics were the in ting, when a new artist came in, there was always scepticism on how the character would be drawn, so lets see if can work before we trash the poor girls career.

i hate the costume.... more like modern circus cow-girl costume than a super heroine costume. i prefer the original or if you see the animated films "superman-batman:apocalypse" or the "justice league:crisis on 2 earths" or the "wonder woman animated film"... much better. and her tiara of this modern cow-girl...looks rediculous...it never looks wonder woman at all.

oh my god they butchered wonder woman's costume! they need to get it right, you can't alter what is already at it's peak greatness, plus that mole in between her eyes totally gives it away that she isn't wonder woman, the lipstick is too shiny and her hair is dark brown not black which is how it's supposed to be i'm an 18 year old girl part od the age demographic they're aiming for and i would not want to watch this show if they don't fix it asap, even i know that ain't right

I keep seeing comments like "she's ugly" and "she has no ass." Linda Carter was (and still is) hot, but she didn't have an ass either. I think her ass looks okay. At least you don't see cottage cheese. Also, I don't think she's ugly. She quite attractive. Let's just give her a chance before we start lambasting this young woman with negative comments. Now one thing I can get on board with is this costume being wrong. Whose idea was it to get rid of the swimsuit? Get us back our bikini!!!

@Scarcro1 Well Lynda didn't have a big ass, but she didn't need a corset either!, She has natural curves, Her face was perfect, so her legs and her breast were not done by a doctor. I don't think Adrianne is ugly but she doesn't look like Wonder Woman at all. She looks like a woman dressed for Halloween. Anyway, It would be interesting to see who she's going to fool with the secret identity of Diana Prince with those characteristic moles she has on her face...

If only they would've casted their net a bit wider in the search for Wonder Woman. Anyway, I'm curious to see how she's gonna pull it off. Adrienne has a tremendous burden of proof on her to convince die-hard fans that she is the new Wonder Woman. I'm gonna keep an open mind. The script better be kick-ass!

I have the 1993 "Fantastic Four" movie, the unbroadcast "Justice League of America" live-action pilot, "The Star Wars Holiday Special," and various other things, including "Legends of the Superheroes" which is now actually available on DVD.

If you have seen Adrianne Palicki as Tyra Collette on the critcally-acclaimed but little-watched Friday Night Lights you would not be criticizing her. I know that 's sort of the costume that is in the recent #600 series Wonder Woman DC comic, but I'm not sure if the comic will end up going back to the original, iconic outfit. If the comic does return to the original look, then so should the TV show, eventually.
Maybe she'll have more than one look, regardless.
