Just about to buy my first set of bongos so will be doing just this.. jammin' and making music to music.
Apparently our critics have never heard of jammin'! The congas carry the main rhythm in "Oye Como Va" and the bongos are there for accents...
BTW, "Oye Como Va" is one of my favorite Santana recordings (not to mention the original from Tito Puente!), and you're making it sound even hotter than it already is! Big five for five for you on this one, mon frere!
