  • eah, twisted 80's with funny commercials like this, twice the power-lol, the challenge is allways be there- is lol too, i never hear about Sega Master System untill 2004-in retro gamer magazine, and i never realised that sega made 8-bit system like NES

  • Twice the Mega Power?! What's mega power and how can you have twice as much of it?

  • with TWICE THE MEGA POWER!

  • hahahahaha this commercial is so funny

  • I can't believe I'm saying this... But this is so-o-o-o-o before my time... And I'm 26!!

  • @foxmakeba If it's before your time, then I highly doubt that your 26, cause I'm 27 and I was born way before the SMS even came out in Europe :P

  • @meman887 I'm 28. :/ Don't get me wrong, I had one. But... I could never get into the games I had for it. I had Hang on and probably others I can't remember. I had an Atari ST that i played more. :/

  • @foxmakeba Fair point. :)

  • It doesn't matter, in America, they shouldn't have said "Twice the Mega Power!" if no one in America had any of this "Mega Power"

  • How can you have better graphics and more accurate controls than what?

It sounds like they had a previous system, that had less.

  • They DID have a previous system. The Sega SG-1000, which never made it to America.

  • Actually Sears released a clone of the SG-1000 in the US under their Telegames name .

The Telegames Personal Arcade was capable of playing SG-1000 titles but no one knew it could

  • They were probably saying it in reference to the NES.
