You may want to check out my lessons on sweep picking before making Malmsteen comparisons......This lesson just introduces the arpeggio shapes and a practical way of using them. I don't claim to be a shredder in the style of Malmsteen but I do understand, execute, and teach the technique. Just not something I choose to use on a regular basis.

That's kind of an awkward way of displaying his hands. haha, it's actually a bit distracting, so the educational aspect to the video is not very effective. Really nice tone, but since his picking hand is made to appear so large, it would help if he explained how he's picking as well and not just go over the chords he's playing over!
