I'll never understand the benefit of jumping a week into the future... I guess you'd have to be pretty impatient. It would've been pretty cool if the wave had a normal and variant CNC, the variant pieces coming with each of the variants =p Granted, that could be confusing for some people and a mild inconvenience. I think I prefer the look of the modern. The color is more vibrant.
He briefly looked like this in early/mid 90's during JLEurope years and again for the Maxi series Captain Atom: Armegeddon where he visits the Wildstorm (WildCATS, Authority, etc) Universe.
For the most part he has gone with the silver look and sports it currently in his backup feature in Action Comics
The golden paint job looks cool but in my opinion there are way too many red lines going across the figure. They could've given the variant the buzz cut hair!
Thanks for the comparison!
I think in this case the non-variant definitely takes the cake.
Same here. I would be surprised if the Batman figure would turn out to be the strongest figure in this wave but as a Batman fan I always want to hear other peoples thoughts about everything Batman related.
I kinda like the gold one from his pre DC days. They gonna do one of thoes?
