I never did hydro but I know from experience that with the right soil and the right nutes you can and will make your plants bigger and grow quicker then his. with organic soil and nutes and a 400 watt metal halide lamp for vegg you can cut back you time in every process by at lease a week or more

Notice how big the AK47 grew compared to the White Widow once in the flower room. I found AK47 grows like a CHAMP. It doesn't seem to have as many crystals as other strains though. I'd like to see how his AK turns out.

@hillbilly1420 once you get your mother plants grown, you can clone that mother plant every 2 months. after that clone has grown to the desired size, you can put i tin the flowering room and wait a month or so while the buds form, harvest, then put a new grown clone in.

How is he keeping the plants under that fluorescent set up for that long??? From what I have observed those lights are only good for the first 2 weeks at best. Plants just die from lack of light after that. Or is it because he is using a high spectrum? At home-depot they don't differentiate between high-low fluorescent spectrums, they just have the basic, and you will need the 400w light immediately after the 2nd week.

Well then the neglected information about fluorescents is that you need a massive one, and it needs a particular spectrum. Because multiple tests have shown it just does not work. In fact if any sunlight touches your plants they will turn to face toward the sunlight, away from the fluorescents. That outta tell ya something my lame words can't seem to.

i wouldn't spray the interior of the humidity dome with water. too wet and mold and fungus will rapidly produce. the trick is to get a nice humid atmosphere, not a sopping wet environment. if you see a lot of water on the inside of the dome, you should remove the cover for a couple hours.

depends on the plants strain. generally 8-9 weeks for indica and 10-12 weeks for sativa's. but the seed pack will tell you. only harvest early if your in a real hurry but you will be missin out on the end product which is far more potent and denser. hope this helps
