My wife warms up her bottom with a heating pack to relax the muscle and wrap the needle with the heating pack.  It goes in much smoother and faster :)

You're brave, I'm on my last clomid cycle and Doc. said at 41 there isn't alot he could do for me and not alot of Doctors out there willing to either, any advice? God bless and baby dust to ya.

warm the oil before, don't ice pack the area to inject, rub it / warm it if anything, then move around after - don't sit still.

I'm about to give one to my wife for the first time and I think I'm going to have a panic attack :(

I freaked about having to inject her with Gonal-f and Luveris but now I realize I didn't know what freaking meant.....that is one scary ass needle.

you'd probably find it easier to inject if you warm the oil slightly before hand. Makes it flow more easily. You only need to hold it in your hand or stick it in your bra for approx 30 mins before you do the jab.
