It absolutely reminds me of old Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear days, when I'd spend hours planning, rather than playing the mission. It just works even better!

Hopefully, FS gets the acclaim that it certainly deserves, and Ubisoft pulls their heads out of their asses and start making the R6 games like they used to be when Red Storm was independent.

Looks really good, I like games like this where you get to take your time and plan carefully. Not a big fan of traditional turn based though, I only really tolerated it for xcom. Simultaneous turn based seems great though.

We're not currently planning any time-limited modes...it was discussed at one point. There will be lots of scope for different modes, though, and we are planning possible expansions. We have to focus on the core modes for multiplayer at the moment and making those really good.

This is a must play for me.

15-10$ only if it has a solid multiplayer and gameplay tactics.

For example: an adaptable AI or random maps so we don't get bored in MP or to familiarized with the maps :)

If you haven't played it yet, you should get hold of Incubation (Blue Byte, 1997). Certainly to my mind, one of the best tactical, squad-based PC games, if not for the sheer atmosphere and difficulty.

It might also be worth reviewing ThreadSpace: Hyperbol. Another indie Tactical game, which, although loved and played by a devoted core of fans, never really achieved any mainstream success, due mostly to a huge learning curve which scared newbies off.

Looking nice so far. One of the big problems with these simultaneous systems is that they can take a long time for the user to move their units, but it looks like you have a good system for relaying the commands.
