    you could perfectly bake them without the sugar and when you have people over add the sugar to make them look golden and crusty.

  • Thank you very much. I didn't know about the sugar, I've been baking mine without sugar. And the foil, very good tip- makes it easy to clean up afterwards.

  • These go well with cinnamon and maple syrup.Just like banana bread!

  • You add butter and sugar on one side, flip and the on the other before baking. You bake them on one side and do not flip them while baking.
