Well, as I discovered MK about a year ago, I recently found out that there were 2 movies. I almost pissed myself. I went online and watched them.

Movie 1-Well, not what I expected, but enjoyable. The fight scenes are fun to watch and Scorpion sounds so bad ass. 8/10

Movie 2-Excuse me, while I review this, I am tying a noose. This movie sucks. It may have almost every character in MK3, but it still sucks. 3/10 goodbye cruel world (knocks over chair)

The problem with this movie is the under-usage of some of the characters. I still do like this movie but honestly the casting was a bit bad. The worst actress of all the time is the girl that played Kitana. "its a trap lui..." Christopher walken half drunk and asleep woulda put more feeling into that damn line!!!!!!

Annihilation was so bad it made me want to hang myself. Being in the movie theater for this one was the equivalent to Guantanamo Bay. I would prefer Chinese water torture or castration. Easily the biggest waste of a budget. There are starving children in Africa, and they would pay money to not see this piece of garbage. I will never get this piece of my life back, and I am infuriated.

When i was young i absolutely adored all that was Mortal Kombat. I thought the first movie was fantastic (in retrospect its now just a guilty pleasure) but i remember seeing this and couldnt help but get the feeling they were making it up as it went along.

i adore the first MK film and there is a sequel in the works using the original cast, which i cannot wait for. This film however is a shambles and you hit the nail on the head. Fucking awful film, everything good about the first is gone in this film and it annoys me. The killing of Johnny Cage and absense of the actor from the role itself is the worst bit for me, but Sonya looks like an old mother as well.
