Smithing wise, they cost 20 per but for that you need to make it in multiples of three.

@DragontheGeek - because you have to create the potions, smith/enchant the gear and figure it all out, i started doing this after clocking 200hrs of gameplay and have some insane gear. nothing is ruined as you can just re-equip normal gear. i have a ring of sneaking that is +24,000,000%

Mods and glitches are fun after completing  the primary quests (main quest-line, daedric, etc.). I can't mod but I always make a separate game save for glitching it out and exploring outside of the map and to feel like a god in-game. I guess that can answer some of the people who hate mods.
