It was my pleasure to have attended a performance by these world class musicians in an intimate 19th century home. Yes, for many YouTube is the only place to enjoy a Pioneer Consort piece, but if the opportunity arises, you must attend a live performance by these brilliant musicians. The music filled the room. Me and my fellow audience members were enthralled throughout the various pieces weaved by this trio. This is the real “soul” music. Thanks Pioneer Consort, and Bravo
Carmen Miranda would be proud! Well done gents. A brazialian choro classic, and a challenging one at that! According to Wikepedia, this piece was composed in 1917, and had its first recording in 1931. Nice to see that it is still being performed and recorded in 2011.

It's nice to see this piece done with a more relaxed pace. It doesn't destroy the "fire" of Tico Tico, but dances in the temptation!
