  • What a thrill to find this video. My father, Maj James R Farris was a Navigator in the 832nd. My wife, son and I went to Sudbury in April 2011. We were given a a personal tour of the old base by David Burnett, Sudbury Museum curator. The owner of the property where Station 74 headquarters is located graciously allowed us to visit some of the old buildings - mess hall, showers bldg. & the Commander's residence. We saw many of the places shown in this video. Thanks for posting this. Tom Farris

  • Great video!! My grandfather, Capt. John F. Rivers, was a lead bombardier in the 833rd BS. He flew with Earnest Berrys crew in the B-24 "Supertitious Aloysius" which is shown in this film. His nissan hut the "Scavenger Club" is also shown here.
