I need help, when i place my finger in the 5th fret on the second string, it sounded different than it is from that guitar (from the vid.). It didn't have the harmonic sound in it.....CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN WHY!!?

@Karvenate You should touch the string, but don't push down, right on top of the fret, not in the middle of it. Pluck the string and untouch the string at the same time. Harmonic :) look for the easier harmonics on 12th frets, 7th frets and 5th frets. Hope this helps!

Theres picks with textures that allow you to hold the pick stronger. He doesn't understand what you meant by "dont hit the other strings"

You have to individually palm mute those strings with your (if yours a righthanded guitarist) right hand WHILE holding the bar. Its difficult. Practice it.

You can, of course, simply do what this guy did for this tutorial and take off any unused strings and just pratice not hitting the ones you left on. Mix up a few ideas and see what you get

To play a harmonic all u have to do is just barely touch the top of the string n strum it and it will create a high pitched sound it helps if u play right above the metal that divides the frets n the easiest place to play a harmonic is on the 12th fret.

no...that would only work if you wanted to a higher key...this is dropped half a step...which means a lower key...then the big e string is even LOWER than that...so ya...
