My father, he died in 1980, loved this opera of Mussorgsky above all opera's. I grew up with this fantastic music and still love it.

And still prefer the original orchestration above the re-orchestrated versions by Rimsky_Korsakov and Shostakovitch

And I like Khovantchina too!

The tenor is Vladislav Piavko. One of the Bolshoi Theater strongest soloists.
