I like him (student at VT) but we have a defensive coordiantor Bud Foster who is the reason we have been really good recently. Every year that goes by we get closer to finally losing him. If Beamer would retire to keep Bud there it would be amazing
I graduated from VT and never once met someone that didn't love Beamer. He is a great coach and standup guy. That being said, Bud Foster is alot fo the reason we are as good as we are. His defense just dominates. If we could only get rid of Stinespring, we could be really dangerous.

Wow you are sooo cool . You can try to live in the past Numbnuts. But the BIG EAST is much better than the lowly acc. The BIG EAST went 5-0 in there bowl games last year. How did the acc do. Yea thats what I was thinking not to good. Wake "the cupcake" Forest lost to a big east team , and wake was the acc Champ.

I just dont get why wv fans keep on about vt. Weve forgot about yall. every tech vid has a wv comment that is ugly. Were done with yall, u burn couches after victories for gods sake. But if u think all those big east teams will continue to win then ur nuts, they dont recruit well enough.WV and Louisville are good, thats it. FL state, miami, vt, bc, are comin back. U cant keep the big dogs down. But the VT WV rivalry is DONE. WV has a good future but its not against vt.

They will be good for years to come .they are arguably the best conference in the country bar SEC. South Florida is just starting to get attention ,Pittsburgh is in the top 10 in recruiting , and Rutgers is no cup cake either......

since when is auburn so good, and... USF was ranked number 2, but then after losing to rutgers they died out and sucked the rest of the season. all the big east has is WVU (who lost to Pitt, everyone) and the rest is mediocre teams
