I have to say my favorite N64 game is Super Mario 64 even though it isn't the most good looking N64 game it did have amazing controls and camera angles (and that's saying A LOT since the camera angles kinda sucked with most games) plus it paved the way for 3 dimensional games and without it who knows where gaming would be at now anyways it was the first game I ever played and even if you played a different game as your first it all has memories in our hearts. I liked your video about how GameStop rips people off. Although the vid is 3 years old, it's still very true. It's a real shame how screwed up the system is. @SinHunter7 I would say patience is key. Lots and lots of patience. You could try thrift stores, but I been to a few myself where they wanted 30 dollars for a busted up FF 7 missing the manual. And another thrift where they had a dirty nintendo 64 that was in rough shape for 80 bucks. You might want to stay away from those.
Try local pawn shops since they don't go off amazon, ebay prices, they price ALL games at one low price. I found Shadow Hearts, Xenosaga, Suikoden 3, for a mere 5 bucks.
@SinHunter7 You never know what you'll find at pawn shops. I heard one story that someone bought a complete copy of Suikoden 2 for PS1 for a mere 5 dollars.
So far, I haven't found anything that grand yet. But one day!

@L1Games In my area it's vise versa, all game stuff at thrift, flea, yard sales are over priced. At this thrift store they wanted 29.99 for a green label FF 7 missing the manual, had scratches and the front of the case was busted in two pieces. Then they had FF 1 for NES for 29.99 cart only and a black label FF 7 for 35.99.
Tell me Muzz how much is FF 7 at your L1 Store? I seen one in the background of your vids. Do you price them according to their label colors?
I can't say just how much stuff I've improved on with games and what-not thanks to a lot of your videos. I just finished my gameroom and cleaned up all my cartidges and discs and it's been a great learning experience for me and gaming. Thanks Muzz

Oh man Banjo Kazooie was the greatest game of my childhood, I remember 12 years ago me and my brother used to play that game 24/7 and we beat the game over 25 times in so many different ways, my biggest achievement was running though the whole game with the only starting 3 honey combs. I dislike how difficult it is to buy retro video games over here in the UK, the only games I can find are in really bad condition, yellowed and only sold in rather shady stores.

I wish there were more privately owned stores like yours in America because they're run by people like you, who actually have a passion for games because you're a gamer just like us. You know about the games, not because of it's the stuff you're selling, but because you've actually played them. Can't say the same for the random college kid at GameStop who sounds like he's reading directly from the back of the box.
Do us a favor and open a chain of L1 Games stores and I'll come work for you =D

I have to say my favorite N64 game is Super Mario 64 even though it isn't the most good looking N64 game it did have amazing controls and camera angles (and that's saying A LOT since the camera angles kinda sucked with most games) plus it paved the way for 3 dimensional games and without it who knows where gaming would be at now anyways it was the first game I ever played and even if you played a different game as your first it all has memories in our hearts. I liked your video about how GameStop rips people off. Although the vid is 3 years old, it's still very true. It's a real shame how screwed up the system is. If your store was located somewhere around Massachusetts i would be happy to shop there and support your small business. If I happen to win a prize :) I grew up playing N64. I still remember playing super smash bros with my cousin, and it would be nice to play it again :).

I still think your store should have online options, though I understand that can complicate things with transactions. Though if one day you do decide to set up an online store as well, you better accept shipping to Canada, I hate finding awesome stuff to find out it's US only shipping. The only reason I haven't been able to get a Channel F yet...

@SinHunter7 I would say patience is key. Lots and lots of patience. You could try thrift stores, but I been to a few myself where they wanted 30 dollars for a busted up FF 7 missing the manual. And another thrift where they had a dirty nintendo 64 that was in rough shape for 80 bucks. You might want to stay away from those.
Try local pawn shops since they don't go off amazon, ebay prices, they price ALL games at one low price. I found Shadow Hearts, Xenosaga, Suikoden 3, for a mere 5 bucks.

@SinHunter7 You never know what you'll find at pawn shops. I heard one story that someone bought a complete copy of Suikoden 2 for PS1 for a mere 5 dollars.
So far, I haven't found anything that grand yet. But one day!
One question: is retro game hunting/collecting considered to be addictive?

@L1Games In my area it's vise versa, all game stuff at thrift, flea, yard sales are over priced. At this thrift store they wanted 29.99 for a green label FF 7 missing the manual, had scratches and the front of the case was busted in two pieces. Then they had FF 1 for NES for 29.99 cart only and a black label FF 7 for 35.99.
Tell me Muzz how much is FF 7 at your L1 Store? I seen one in the background of your vids. Do you price them according to their label colors?

Oh man Banjo Kazooie was the greatest game of my childhood, I remember 12 years ago me and my brother used to play that game 24/7 and we beat the game over 25 times in so many different ways, my biggest achievement was running though the whole game with the only starting 3 honey combs. I was really sad banjo threeie never happened :(
