  • Okool! Wireframe movers and Lighting only modez!

  • way better than original

and i thought the original was great!

  • still like the first pipe dream better

  • Eh, the book was better

  • This is preatty amazing, this is very impressive. That's preatty cool that they can do that.

  • 9 people go with pipe dream 1

  • I wanna see one of thoses break out and bounch around before carfully landing in the pipe.

  • Any one notice the tubular bells, they're balls fall to the floor.

  • @GwenCodyHeather IT'S NO BALLS TO THE FLOOR!!! Watch carefully, you'll see it go back into the pipe.

  • so so so so so so so cool

  • It appears 8 people dont know the difference between like and dislike...

  • @ezelite They clicked dis i like.

  • Just looking at the wireframe, the amount of polys is staggering for something like this. It's truly a testament to Lytle and the crew's dedication to creating progressive musical experiences accessible to any age, combining elements of prog rock, techno, and multiple other genres.

  • I like this more than first, animation and better music too; it's excellent!

  • @TIwdaym i like it too!!

  • They did a really good job refining the instruments, it looks much more realistic!

  • More Cowbell

  • wonder if u could really do this?

  • is look cool but is cooler then pipe dream

  • I love the music.

Reminds me of Sim City :)

  • Despite my hatred for fade-outs, I had to like this.

  • AH HAHAHAHA! I've been thinking where does the ball goes after each ball has been bounced off of something...

  • That's a lot of balls.

  • @Jessielovr26 thats what she said ;)

  • @Jessielovr26 eww

  • i kind of like it when its all colorful

  • they should have something like this in a museum.

  • really awesome, I can't imagine how much work must go into something like this. Really Nice !!!!!!!

  • Good idea, nice music sound & rthyrum.

  • Just me, or does this look like something Dr. Suess would put in one of his books?

  • I have never seen something like this....

I can't find the most appropriate words....

    maybe...fantastic??

  • Very cool...

  • nice aim loll

  • There's going to be another pipe dream in Animusic 3 it will be called Super Pipe Dream

  • dude animusic is so fucking sick especially this one and the original pipe dream. I cant help but start banging on everything in front of me when i start listening to it. Great work man.

  • If this was ever made in real life I would jizz myself. Great concept but very tough to even come close to making something like this. Maybe the drum part but thats it.

  • hey, I like this version better

  • There is nothing fake about this. This is made through a computer and software. It is actually programmed to make the different noises as what ever object is chosen hits on what ever other object is chosen From what I understood you need a powerful machine to do it, and yes the software is expensive,You can't just walk into a best buy and buy the software for $50 bucks. Who ever say this is fake does not know what they are talking about. Its real music that is made by hitting made up objects.

  • @mustange550 all I had to read in that whole comment were the first two sentences. You were wrong with the first and proved me right with the second. This is fake because of the animation. The music is all too real, in fact Ive heard it was all done by one guy, but the video is animated, and therefore fake.

  • @ih8txtrytn What makes you think I was responding to you. Of course common sense tells you animation is made to be fake in any situation. I was replying do those who say this fake. The part where you say all I had to read is that comment were the first two sentences is a combative response. Don't be a smart Alec

  • @mustange550 Ok, truce, but I have to say that indirectly, that comment was aimed at me. Just sayin.

  • @ih8txtrytn :) Yea! Better be truce!

  • muito bommm!!!!!!

  • There's a whole lot of pipes and is impossible to build.

  • Genius imagination! Gives me hope that American ingenuity will save our badly listing country with drunken captains at the helm.

  • Comment removed

  • @ih8txtrytn what part is fake? its ANIMATION. of coarse its fake than... your point?

  • I'm just taking the piss out of trollers who say 'fake and gay'. This is fake (animation), but it's not gay.

  • I just wish this was real.**sigh**I also wish there was guitar**

  • I just wish this was real.**sigh**

  • the best one is the see throw one

  • This should be realtime!

  • ZOMG i love the beginning when everything is so basic and translucent...Flashed back to something...0000

  • I bet that if anyone could do this in RL... It would be the Mythbusters. They're probably also the only people with the money, the resources, AND the time to build something like this.

  • It's amazing that none of those balls hit the floor.

  • @Krintok It's an animation, the creator chooses exactly where it goes

  • @darkwolf6052

I know, but just think about it in reality.

Only a few of them would actually go in.

Most of them would hit the floor in a heartbeat.

  • this sounds very "Spyro The Dragon". i love Animusic.

  • The Ending is terrific!

  • technically, if you had the time and money...could you do this, obviously there would have to be some adjustments for the law of physics but otherwise....????

  • eyegasm

  • fake... but not gay...

  • @TheXRealXBrapp

*Reply to your 1 year old comment on page 8*

It is called animation. I can make a guy shoot plastic explosives out of his ass with animation.

  • @Telamon8 lol that was just a joke.

  • I prefer this one than the first pipe dream

  • I like this more than the first one!

  • @snugglebunnie1717 I was thinking more in terms of the pressure used to launch the balls, not the air in the supposed chamber itself. The whole device is plausible, but not feasable, because the logistics would be a nightmare in keeping up with it. If it didn't depend on the launchers (and the air to use them), then, maybe, it'd be more likely, but they're an important part of the system. No, using CG for it is the best way.

  • @Ben9263Thurber Ok im lost, what does all this have to do with this video? at first i understood, now ur confusing the crap outta me!

  • @SuperBlueHedgehog The question was whether or not it would be plausible to create this device in reality or whether it would be something more of a nightmare to try and crate it. I was simply stating that the technology does exist, the possibility does exist to create this machine, but the variables involved would be a pure nightmare given that the whole thing would have to be entirely static, meaning no differential at all. It's all about the possibilities.

  • @Ben9263Thurber Honestly...I doubt it, just from the strings alone--I don't think you could get it accurate enough to hit such small targets consistantly. And then there's the problem of the metal xylophone/chimes section, which goes in all directions from a single, non-moving aperature. Still looks great in the CG, though. :-)

  • @VulpisFoxfire I'm not saying it wouldn't be extremely difficult....okay, next to impossibe....I'm just mentioning a few of the headaches that would be involved in trying to set up and calibrate such an intricate machine.

  • @Ben9263Thurber Oh, yeah, seeing as it being overwhelming to most at first glance, with right angling, setup, and determination, the possibility of that being created in reality is dramatically raised than at first glance. But yes, it most definitely is possible.

  • @snugglebunnie1717 Pretty much. If there were any unplanned varition at all in the flow, the entire calibration would be thrown off. Even if there were a slight percentage of, say, air pressure in the system, the whole thing would need to be recalibrated, and that would have to be done in such a way as would not disrupt the rest of it. The thig is, it's plauible, but it's not feasable. If there were even a minor earth tremor, it'd have to be taken offline and recalibrated.

  • hmm i wonder what program they used

  • @srorasco1 3ds max of course :)

  • its amazing how much simple motion blur makes the picture seem so less choppy

  • 2:51 more cowbell!

  • if I could compose to half that standard, i would pass music so easy

  • It's the best thing since pacman.

  • Groovalicious!

  • Pipe Dream [a]

  • sweeeet

  • UNBELIEVABLE! This is the best thing since Andre Rieu

    luedke7

  • WICKED COOOOOOOOOOOOL

  • man this is sooooooo live...i luv it!!!

  • How do you make a animation like this?? I wish I could!!!

  • In this bonus feature, they show you before they filled in the models, after they filled in the models, and after they colored the models.

  • far out fantastic enspires shure people to play a instrument

  • I like the beginning of the first one better but I like this piece better. Really creative composing given the boundaries set by the machine itself.

  • i wish that was real

  • now i heard the first one today and its AWESOME!!!!!!GO ANIMUSIC

  • im sorry something happened and the thing i wrote was erased. i said that you should have 1000 ratings not 260 because your video is awsome.

  • personal opinion.... better then the 1st

  • @theoriginal1mogin

personal opinion.... 1st was way better, it set the bar wayy higher. love them both though

  • @theoriginal1mogin Yeah i agree, I love the melodies of the xylophone and vibes on this one

  • the perfect music machine...

  • oh man i wish i could see a complete coming down of the cylophone from highest to the lowest sound^^

  • this is fucking awesome !!!

  • every time i watch animusic, it makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up

  • CRAZY, WONDERFUL, FANTASTIC - ECHT STARKES WERK!! gLG!! Tanja ,)

  • another master piece of animucic art

  • I wish I could favorite this many times:D

  • 1:01 - 1:15 is just mah favorite part it sounds so good! RARG

  • Yeah, it's like some '70 progressive rock music...

  • i know right!

  • Wonderful chord progressions.

  • the vibraphone fountain looks like a flower its cool

  • its still not real, but its truly amazing! i like the first one better though.

  • its real wut the band does is play the music then make an animation for it so its technically real

  • no your wrong there, there is no band. the music is generated throught there own MIDI software using the anitmation. check their website

  • Hmm, almost would've expected the transparent view to show the balls moving trough the pipes. otherwise, a magnificent piece :D

  • I like this song best of all animusics, especially 1:47 when the instruments perfectly complement eachother. :D

  • I luv it wen the Drums come in..

  • can i dowload it or something?

  • LOL low rider 2:52-2:55!

  • NEED MORE COWBELL!!!!

  • lmao

  • this is TOO kool i love it

  • it doesnt matter if its possible or not... you are just ruining it for the rest of us

  • I wonder if they got people to play the instruments then animated it into the instruments! Its quite a science!

By the way, all you people out there saying, "It could never be done" and all that criticism, don't. There's no point whatsoever, it's been made into a DVD and lots of people have rated it 5 stars. So just sit back and enjoy the music!

  • Metal balls hitting one another when disposed or anywhere else would make noise, even if they struck their target with accuracy. Everything should have plenty of space to avoid such thing so the shape of the "instrument" would be completely different.

  • I think it would be possible to make this, but creating instruments that give such pretty tones when being struck by a ball would be very hard, considering that they've been refined over the centuries to use a stick, or a pick, or whathaveyou. Also, having the balls fall into little tubes is impossible, but if the floor was slanted, and they rolled down into a collecter that sucked them up, that may work.

Still, the instruments are the hard part...

  • I don't believe we have the technology to build something like this.......

  • i bet if sumone tried really hard and had luck on their side, and plenty of time >_>

  • Oh, the technology is there... what we don't have is the patience, the time, or the money...

  • 1 out of 4 isn't bad XD

  • @XmegaprrX Oh, I do agree the technology to create this in plausibility does exist, but the logistics would be an absolute nightmare. The easiest part would be writing the programs to run the machine. The difficulty lies in the environment the machine would be in. The location would have to be free from every kind of imaginable disruption from airflow to geologic instability and it would have to be shut down at a moments notice should the calibration go out, taking forever to propely reset.

  • @Ben9263Thurber

    Very true... I agree

  • @XmegaprrX ya, too bad its mostly the money.

  • @XmegaprrX and for many that aren't as cool as us, the brains.

  • @XmegaprrX Someone has the money, just not the patience or time. Plus rich people don't like to spend money. Jerks lol

  • @XmegaprrX

What are you talking about? We have lots of money, but the bank doesn't want to give up the money.Remember, the rich man is greedy the poor man is thankful.

  • @XmegaprrX People do things like make a working computer in Minecraft

People have the Time and Patience. Just not the Money

  • We could build it. The real question is if we can get it working, not to mention just as accurate as in the video..

  • the drumset is the best

  • OMG so cool :D!

  • I think I saw this on YTV back in the day... Seems oddly familiar.

Or at least it was a 1min edit of it.

  • Or at leats the original Pipe Dream

  • wowzer imagine that in real life omg that would b sooo good

  • i acctually think they are processin something simmular with this in a science lab

  • that would be amazing if it were true =]

  • they tried it and it didn't work cuss they couldn't get the right angles and measurements so sorry to ruin your day

  • There are a lot of bonus features on the DVDs that are not on YouTube.

  • Because the quality sucks on youtube.

  • Who cares....as long as you hear some kick ass music is all that matters!

  • If you enjoy it why not support the people who MADE it so they can maybe make more? People like you are why youtube is screwing with so many posted videos on here, those that make the music/movies don't get the money they earned for MAKING the products people then just throw on here... If you like it enough to listen to it, then break out the wallet/purse and stop being so damn cheap.

  • kinda, same as the 1st one but i like this more than the 1st one.. soooooooooooo sweet!!!!!

  • this is astounding! all hail to the mighty computer geeks!

  • This is bound to make anyone smile. :)

  • AMAZING

  • cool

  • non-textured it kinda looks like maya though

  • maybe that's because maya is a 3d application???

  • this is way better than the first lol

  • 1:52 -2:13

  • Lol at the tags.

  • The best parts of the song are 1:01-1:14, 1:46-2:13, 2:38-2:52, 3:09-3:24.

  • Is it just me or does this song sound like something from a crash bandicot game?

  • Actually the first one was out in 2001.

  • lol take years? the firt one was out in 2004 second one in 2005 this is second animusic

  • trippiest shit when you're baked omg

  • hahaha.......nicely done!

  • WTF...????

  • Oh, wow, that's awesome! :D

  • dang it, i thought there would be elves operating the entire thing.

  • i like that argument lol. Everything is possible!

  • Power of computer animation
