the native americans roamed that land a bit over the years so there are probably a few burial grounds in the area. It is still a sacred area to many of their ancestors and they have been helping as part of the Save San Onofre coalition.

I have a question that I'm sure has been asked.
Have Native Americans been invited to the state park to excavate for artifacts or ancestral human remains?
There might be a burial ground in them thar hills 3 - 5 miles inland.
