  • @ChackerDrew Just look at how the sun turns lighter, less complex elements like hydrogen into heavier, more complex elements like carbon. It does this because gravity and high pressure causes elements to fuse together. And does this without divine intervention. Life uses the process of natural selection to create complexity in living systems. No divine intervention is required. Its just a process that is part of the natural world.

  • God is light.

  • So god created light on the first day and the Sun on the fouth day? What was this light that existed on the first day. Some sort of divine flashlight that he later turned off?

  • @Idlemindswander Go on my discussion called "Story of the Sky" for one thought on it.

  • @Idlemindswander 22? 18 - 19?

  • @Idlemindswander you know the sun isn't the only source of light

  • @Sexaulchocalte100 If they weren't talking about the sun, then how did they measure the passage of the 4 days until the sun was created ? Just shows that the bible is full of silly man made stories. They couldn't even write the first few sentences without contradicting themselves.

  • @Idlemindswander they measured it in hours and minutes duh god wanted a day to be 24 hours so during the four days he measured it in hours and not by if its dark out or not

  • @Sexaulchocalte100 "And God said, Let there be light, and there was light". "he separated the light from the darkness. God called the light day, and the darkness he called night. And there was evening, and there was morning the first day" This is a direct quote from the bible. The day was clearly measured based on how light/dark it was.

  • @Idlemindswander he is saying light means day and dark means night

  • @Sexaulchocalte100 . Before the creation of the sun on the fourth day there wouldn’t have been light. It would have been dark all the time. No stars either. They were created on the fourth day also. There couldnt be an day night cycle unitl the fourth day.

  • @Idlemindswander how do you know that could of just been nothing back then before anything was created

  • @Sexaulchocalte100 The only thing I know is that the bible is a man made book that is filled with errors. It also says plants were created on the third day. How could land plants survive without a sun ? The earth would have been lifeless rock without the sun to create heat.

  • @Idlemindswander you got me there maybe god used some of his powers on the plants

  • @Sexaulchocalte100 You just have to ask yourself, what is most likely? 1) That an all-knowing God made so many mistakes in his perfect bible. Or, 2) That the bible was written by men alone. It's hard to believe that an all-knowing God would make so many mistakes. But its easy to understand how primitive mankind could get so many things wrong.

  • @Idlemindswander well it was made by many different people but the christian god told them what to write down

  • @Sexaulchocalte100 So your saying god made errors in the order he created the world. Your saying he had to use magic to fix all of the things that would have gone wrong because he created plants without a sun.

  • @Idlemindswander yeah preatty much

  • @Sexaulchocalte100 Well then the Christian god isn't worth beliveing in, if he can't get it right the first time.
