Yo, Subaru's first engine was the twin. You know what its second engine was? Another twin, followed by more twins and then inline triples. It wasn't until the 1960s that they even experimented with a flat-4 and even then they continued on with inline triples and inline-4s through the 80s and 90s and still making inline 4s now. Next time, come correct, chump.
