Hi I have a question y dont u put food bowls in the cage I have the same cage and I'm sure the food goes there

@Shadowknight839 I only put the food bowls in at meal times, duh. If I leave them in all day, they just get crapped in. You can see in my other videos how I put food in the parrots' cages after training as a reward for going in.

I have a very silly question for you. The circular wire on which killi is standing on one leg and eating her treat....is that wire too thin for her to stand on? Would it strain too much on the feet? I know if it would strain, the bird would position it self comfortably...but ...i hope you understood what i meant....Im really bad at explaining things T_T

@eligeti89 Long term, yes. But in the short term it's not a big deal. When people tell you it's important to have properly sized perches, that's for in the cage and where the parrot spends a lot of time. If she steps onto that rings for a few minutes to play, it's no big deal.

@MKfreak5000 Your Lori is after the sugar. Being nectar feeders they have a great nose for sugar. A little bit is fine so long as your bird has an otherwise healthy diet.

I have a Senegal too! I love how smart they are! I give mine whole almonds too, not cracked. It takes him a while, but he can get into it.. It gives him something to do when I'm not around. I also take Christmas wrapping paper (or any paper really) and wrap up some treats or seed. It's so funny to watch because it looks like he's opening his own little Christmas present! :) lol

Hey do cockatiels hold nuts or food in thier feet? Cause my female cockatiel is about 5 months old and she pcks up woods shavings and holds it with her feet but never with food.

No. Cockatiels are ground feeders so they don't normally do that.
