I love this couple. They are fantastic and they have so much to do in the next seasons. Their style and grace will be the best we shall have some day. Keep going!! Figure skating is more than a sport, ice dancing especially.

She has turned into such a gorgeous young lady. I loved this performance. It was my favorite free dance at this competition. Their expression, twizzles, and lifts were just top-notch.  I love her hair down! =)

That's not true, it was level 3 for steps, not level 2, and they also didn't get "0" for twizzels. You can find it on ISU.

The beauty and feeling that is Maia and Alex always always truly touches my heart. There is something so special I cannot describe. We love them in France! They are for the world but please I hope Paris and Bompard is a chance to see them!

I agree. Their GOEs and PCS were waayyy too low. Seriously? Just ridiculous.  It's apparent YouTube viewers disagree with the result.

Everyone has opinion :P but I am sad they did not medal. From video, looks like they deserved it. They have very bright future. All their fans must be strong for Maia + Alex!

I can't wait for their new performances. I hppe they come to skate in Tokyo for Worlds next year!

Wow. An amazing performance! Such a beautiful performance.  They have improved so much sincel ast year! This FD should have put them in second place. The Canadians/Russians did nothing for me. I think Maia and Alex got Meryl/Charlie'd (aka robbed--like @ Worlds in LA)

Really superb performance. Maturing so wonderfully. Like watching diamonds getting polished, getting brighter every day. No doubt in my mind their time will come. These two are the only reason I am psyched about ice dance! Thank you MaDDaMforum for posting! So cool.

THANK YOU for posting.... I love this couple. You can really see they're trained by Marina Zoueva & Igor Shipilband, their flow, intricate lifts and the last spin/lift all trademarked excellence.

She is still SO tiny! Only slight critique: dance holds could be closer & speed over ice quicker but really they are SO special. USA is v lucky to have so many great Ice Dance teams!

@twilightlily Yeah, i know!! I think there must have been some biased judges cuz i think they did MORE than enough to be on the podium
