Hi Jamie. I did a running dictation today, it was great! The students loved it and they learned a lot from it. Unfortunately our school is in a block of flats and someone decided to spit from their balcony as one of my students was dictating a chunk of the text. It landed on the poor fellow. I made them go outside after your warning of sprained limbs but hadn't foreseen the peril of the spitting neighbour... !!!
great way to teach English i must say coz it involves reading, writting, memorization, speaking and well yeah running too.;P btw, i've seen this method when you showed to us during the 3rd international conference of ELT in Malaysia the other day and i thought this is a brilliant idea! seriously the kids enjoyed it pretty much,i can see. i think this game brings away the traditional chalk and blackboard learning style which i think..erm,boring.btw,what's the title of the background song? it's cool!
