The best way to drive a standard Impreza round a track is to be a little bit more aggresive on turn in than is normaly required. You have to give them a bit of a flick towards the apex to prevent the inherent understeer but maintain momentum on the exit. With most other standard road cars doing that would lead to a slow exit and the smooth style you adopted in this video is a better way to drive. I find Imprezas are quicker if you're a bit more lary on turn in. I've got a GB270 saloon BTW
Sounds good - i'll have to give that a go at the next day. A bit of left foot braking might help but that isn't something i'm currently able to do particularly well.
Nice to see another GB270 owner enjoying his car! Mine's a saloon version and it's heaps of fun.

Sorry about the sound - had the GoPro on Lo frequency as it is normally attached to the roll bar of my lotus
