Hi man...I just love your tone and playing in all your videos..Just wanted to know, is your AC booster the newer version or the older one ? I have the regular BB how is diff from the AT version ? Also on some videos i saw you mentioned the Keeley comp, do you usually use it along with the BB and AC for solo's ? Cheers man !!! 5 Stars for your playing and tone !!!

Thanks man. The AC Booster is the new version. A little more open sounding than the older one. If you have the regular BB Preamp you are not that far of the AT version. I find the AT version a little more compressed but the rest is the same. I still use the regular BB a lot. Keeley comp is on all the time. It give my sound the extra smooth edge and sustain I'm looking for. Hope this helps. Peace, -G

Hey man...thanks for your reply...keep up the great work...I'm on the verge of getting the AC and if needed maybe do the simple mod to get it like the old one and im between either getting the new MXR reissue or the Wampler ego for a compressor...Thanks for the help...Cheers !!!

I know that you can talk to Pro-Sound Communications directly to get the AC Booster modded to get the old sound. You can't go wrong with either version. I used tp play the MXR DynaComp however replaced it for the Keeley Comp. The main reason was true bypass. Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with. Peace, -G

You are correct. ;-) The BB on it's own gives me a really warm sound and together with the AC Booster will get almost the same sound as Lonestar + BB. Hope this helps. -G.
