  • That's no 2ft

  • @crazyhorseyhart i can assure you, it IS 2ft. i was there, it was a 2ft class.

  • Everyone has to start somewhere so leave her alone. She's learning just like everyone else regardless of what level you ride at. I think she did a great job and the more she practices the better she'll get just like everyone else.

  • she is doing great for an eight year old!

  • How big is the horse?

  • @Lillythepinkxxx not sure, probably around 12 or 13 hands

  • GODDDDD I AM 8 AND I JUMP WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY BETTER THAN THAT AND I JUMP 10 FT HIGH

  • @duskpawwolf Yeah right, the world record for horse jumping is not even that high.

  • @duskpawwolf you realize that no horse has even come close to jumping that high right?

  • @duskpawwolf Hello... I'm 9 and I only jump 1ft6, if you could jump 'like' 10ft then I'll see you at the Puiccanse wall at H.O.Y.S this year.

  • @duskpawwolf You know the world record for the highest jump is only like 8'2 right?

  • cute pony

  • Hi I am the 8 year old thanks for the people that had the nice comments and to the people who didn thave the nice comments u should see me riding now!

  • how does she gallop round the course :') And the pony isnt tiny lol :') Average sized pony ;p

  • soo cute! yes, her leg wasn't absolutely perfect and she missed a few leads, but she's eight! the horse looks happy and so does she, so it's a nice round :)

  • dude the horse is barely cantering...

  • that girl is an amazing ridder for her age:)x

  • @tbhorsrlover1 Yeah. That's all I was trying to say. I wasn't trying to offend anyone:) but honestly, she should know her leads if she is jumping at shows and stuff. My teacher would never put me in hunter jumper shows without me knowing how to correct my lead. Lol. And yes, I agree...Everyone makes mistakes! Trust me...I have had a hand full of falls. :P

  • What a nice comment the video-er says. "this is the girl who gallops around the ring" how nice. i think shes goin great and NOT gallopin

  • Cute!

  • Ok people! Sorry if u think it's a small pony but it's NOT! It's about 14 hands and my pony's 12.2hh, now thats tiny!! If u think it's tiny ur sad. Soz but just not tiny!

  • Ok people, In my eyes it is Not a small pony, it's about 14 hands my pony's 12.2 hh!! Now thats tiny!

  • She was on the wrong lead. And if her instructor is teaching her this height, she should already have her leads perfect... Especially at shows.

  • @EquitationQueen100 Everyone makes mistakes. maybe not perfect but yes she should atleast know them

  • wrong lead.

  • That pony is adorable! Same with the rider! She is very good! ♥♥

  • LEAD CHANGE! LEAD CHANGE! Ugh Oh Well. Love♥♥

  • OMG that's ADORABLE!

  • aww cute pont and she jumps just like mine what breed is she/he??

  • Tip : Use the whip on the horses booty. Not in its face.

  • @lovewolf2000 Its not in its face: juss sayin. its on the shoulder

  • @tbhorselover1 Again. The WHIP is for its BUTT. Not for its shoulder. Face.

  • @lovewolf2000 She dose not have a WHIP. face? wtf?

  • @tbhorselover1 Wtf - Welcome to facebook!(:

  • @lovewolf2000 *unfriend*

  • Hi i am the 8 year old in this video and u know what i am 10 now and i am jumping 4 foot and doing pony jumpers showing at devon and pony finals this pony was 5 in this video i fell off every day 3 times a day and now look at me u can t really call me a bad rider or say anything rude

  • This is soo freaking cute!! I think she did very well!!

  • cool i love trotting

  • it looks like a pony that I used to take care of ...cute pony

  • Haha good job!

  • I wish I could jump that high when I was 8!

  • this ponys the right size for the rider :)

  • That isn't a "tiny" pony...but still....she is a really good rider!

  • A good rider :)

  • do you know what this pony's name is? It looks JUST like one of my friends's old ponies!

  • SOOO cute!! The pony must be 13hh or smaller to make those 2' jumps look so big! What a cute pair <3

  • Sooooo cute! What a well behaved little pony and a super confident little rider! I struggle to remember a course and I'm 26 to hats off!! And to the idiots comments about whips, don't be so ridiculous!! You clearly know nothing about riding or have any common sense for that matter! Do you really think an 8 year old little girl has the strength to hit a pony hard enough to hurt it?!

  • shes very good at such a young age. shes way better then i was when i was 8. she kept that lazy pony going! this is such a cute video

  • I think it's cute. Very talented little rider and very adorable horse.

  • @ElizeSophie U wanna c a tiny pony come have a look at mine

  • Love how the pony goes along with his nose poking out. Reminds me of a pony I used to ride :)

  • Omg i love that pony..and the girl you can tell shes having fun and thats all that really matters at that age.

  • for an 8 year old, she is an amazing rider! people just really need to calm down! fort an eight year old her jumping position is really good!

  • That pony is NOT tiny!

  • @Breyermadxxx

Of course it's TINY. Show some respect dude.

  • @Breyermadxxx Okay fine, it's tiny compared to what I'm used to.

  • @fieldhockeyandhorses LOL - Breyermadxxx has said exactly what I was going to say, and you have said exactly what I knew you'd say to me :D

  • @Breyermadxxx i ride and that is one SMALL horse

  • @wowzum12345 ya its called a pony...

  • @suckametatas i know small for a pony... nvrm

  • What height re these jumps?

  • @SaraahKeenan 2ft

  • EVERYONE READ: okay people, obviously many of you were THE BEST when riding as a child! but if the cocky bitchiness continues, i'm going to remove commeting completely, which i really don't want to do. when i put this video up, it was simply because i thought it was cute! thats it! an adorable pony and rider!

thank you to those of you that have been respectful :)

  • @fieldhockeyandhorses I agree, it is cute I do have to say.I can't jump that big and I'm older, riding a little Shetland pony and I only jump 1ft6!So tell the girl I say well done.

  • When you hit a horse on the bum it goes faster, not its shoulders, you only hit a horse on their shoulders when they misbehave. I use crops every time I ride but I use them correctly and only hit the horse when they refuse to move.

  • @kcphipps1998 but yet i tap them behind my foot with the crop to reinforce the leg aid.... there is not "right" way of doing things.... they may use the crop on the shoulders, horse is probably use to it... much better with a small 8 year old so both hands can stay on the reins....

  • ummmm the pony obviously needed a crop guys... he was a tad lazy, aand sued it as a riding aid. i use a crop!!

  • lol some of you are complete idiots. ive been riding for 11 years, was trained BHS at a fully qualified riding school and we used crops. i have my own horse, i use a crop as an AID to my riding, it is tool for a rider and horse. crops are used by good riders tentatively not as a means of abuse but as an aid, we did not use them cruely, it is part OF riding. and for an 8 year old girl, this is quality riding! educate yourselves in the equine world please.

  • Ok idc if im the owner of the video or not......but stop saying shes a good to be 8!!!!!!! She could be 8 and be jumping 5ft! Everybody learns at their own pace, it doesnt matter what age u are..so stop saying shes good to be 8 yrs old when age doesnt matter in riding! Like i said u could be 8 and jumping 5ft. So if ou would just please stop saying that..........Yes shes a very good rider..BUT....Age doesnt matter!!!!!

  • @fieldhockeyandhorses I agree, I've been riding for nearly 11 years and I still don't know how to jump!

  • AWWW what a future she has :)) the people hatin probably diddnt get to do the pony divisions ( i started when i was 13) but go girl!

  • Looks like theyve got a jumper on their hands :)

  • aww soo cute . she is amazing for 8 yrs old!! wow

  • I agree this is too cute ! That pony and rider is just such a cute combo :) everything is cute when they're little <3

  • ok at my last show this may sound weird cuz im 13 but at my last show in the crossrales class i decided to canter the course and on the grid i didnt get my strides right and sliped over the neck landed on my feet lost my balance and fell down lol

  • Guys lay off it is just a 8 year old and you wernt riding that pony so maybe she needed to use her crop! what a lovely pony

  • Amazing wee rider !! i can only jump 70cm and ive been riding 2 years !!

  • Alright! I'm just about SICK of many of you! I'm done with being nice and giving you the benefit of the doubt because some of you are just plain rude! First, this video is two years old, second, the girl is 8!! Lay off! I don't care what you were jumping at 8, everyone learns at their own pace. And about the crop and everything else, I don't know her, I'm sure you don't either. There is no way we can know what her teachers have been telling her. Should I remind you that she was 8???

  • @fieldhockeyandhorses thanks for the video the pony looks like a pony where i ride i am glad you filmed it

  • Comment removed

  • @LoveMitchelMusso92 u have to use a crop with ponies... it makes them go faster, and it does not hurt them

  • @horsestar26 no u dnt have 2 use crops on ponnies i rode the same pony 4 like 4 years, never used a crop once, just kicked and squeezed! btw, how do u no it doesn't hurt them? would YOU like someone hitting u with a plastic stick with a rubber tip every five minues? huh? would u? i know i wouldnt

  • @LoveMitchelMusso92 I have been ridng for five years.... and ik they dont hurt them u just need them to make a horse go faster if they are lazy:) And it doesnt hurt cause it is plastic and horses have muscle so they feel nothing. But at first when I rode and I knew NOTHING about horses I thought it hurt them too... but then I did some research and my instructor told me it does nothing but make them go faster:)

  • @horsestar26 btw ive been riding 4 11 years so yea no it all, just leave me the heck alone, its my dang opinion

  • @LoveMitchelMusso92 ok thats fine by me:) u think what u want to think and ill think what i wanna think

  • @LoveMitchelMusso92 no body did a "thumbs up" because your not her trainer and you dont know if that pony is lazy and she can probly barely squeeze with her legs. thats her way of getting him to jump. she wasnt even hittin him that hard just chill.

  • Comment removed

  • @LoveMitchelMusso92 shes frikin 8! her legs barely pass the saddle

  • Comment removed

  • @LoveMitchelMusso92 no way... no nononono way seriously. no one wants to hear what you can and cant do. ok? do you have proof? probly not. she is not abusing the pony. its her desicion what she wants to do with a lazy pony. i will admit she did hit it kinda hard but im sure the horse lived. now get a life.

  • Comment removed

  • @LoveMitchelMusso92 honestly i dont realy care. no one really does. i dont want to see your stupid "proof" just cause you were at a different level than her when you were 8 doesnt mean you should judge her.

  • @grayponylove just leave me alone plz. this wuz just a misunderstanding (IDC IF I MISS-SPELLED IT SO LEVE ME ALONE) Just stop commenting back. do NOT reply to this , if u do I will report u. oh and u tell ME to get a damn life!? what about the bitch im writin back too!? LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE

  • @LoveMitchelMusso92 callin me a bitch? im not judging someone I DONT KNOW! whatever bye

  • So cute :) but I hardly call that a tiny pony......

  • Thats really cute..shes an amazing rider for 8! Haters are so daft

  • what a cute pair :)

  • This girl has the potential to be an amazing rider. All she needs is proper training. You can't blame the rider for having all of those bad habits. She was only 8. At her level, she just listens to what her trainer tells her to do. If nobody teaches her about leads or how to properly use a crop, she won't know right from wrong.

  • aw how cute !:) whats the pony's name?

  • @ModelHorseMovieMaker no clue :( i took this a really long time ago

  • OMG! fieldhockey and horses you are being soo nice to all the haters!

  • damn she is a good rider!

  • Reading some of these negative comments are hilarious. For one, the video is 2 years old. It's a little girl on an obviously well-trained pony. She's a damn good rider at 8 years old! The pony is obviously a saint; who cares if she's wearing spurs, or hitting him with a crop. It's not hurting him. Get a life.

  • I love how even the most egotistical of comments is met with praise. That takes real....I can't think of the right word...oh right....AWESOMESAUCE!

  • Great for an 8 year old x

  • Haha at 0:42!

Pony: I think I'll go over there

    Girl: Oh no, you don't

    Pony: Oh well :P

She's really good for her age! The pony is really nice, too :)

  • wow she is really good for an 8 year old

  • Relax guys, i remember jumping my first POLE and thinking it was the best thing ever.

  • ok people calm down!!! and @majorfruit that is SO true! We all started somewhere i was nine when i jumped 2 foot three inches for the first time and i thought it was the HUGEST jump!! and im sure when all of you haters started jumping, when you jumped 2 feet you thought it was the greatest thing ever!!

  • its really petty to go around saying the height of the jumps are "small" or "pathetic" ! we all started somewhere!! not one of you haters can say you got emediately on a horse and flew over 1m high jumps! thats whats pathetic.. saying the jumps are tiny when infact you would of at one point jumped that height and thought it was huge.. grow up some of you!

  • OMG i want that pony! super cute pair all they need is a lead change and their set for any show!! i really do want that pony tho and i dont like ponies! haha

  • She's a lovely rider and a very nice pony too, wonderful combination! :)

  • hahaht the pony isn't that small... my old pony was smaller and i jumped 2'6" on him.

  • awesome team! u guys were really good:)

  • Who the eff cares what her eq looks like, she's 8 jumping a full course! This has to be the MOST adorable thing ever! Cute pony, cute kid. To the people with negative comments it's a child? Are you people that insecure with yourself, your riding or your horse that you have to nit pick a kid? PATHETIC. Whoever knows the kid, tell her to dream big. She's got a better start than most of us.

  • SO CUTE! <3

  • Yah she was wiggling around the whole course. but for an 8 year old thats pretty good eq. Maybe she needs to work on some things but don't we all?

  • whats wrong with wearing spurs? and whats wrong with jumping that size jump?

i dont see a problem my ponies a proffesional show jumper and i jump her over 2ft jumps at times!

  • SPURS?!

  • There such a cute little team!! shes so awesome!!!

  • Great rider, EVERYONE ELSE JUST SHUT UP ALRIGHT I DONT JUMP HIGH NOT EVERY ONE ARE HAPPY WITH JUMPING HIGH ALRITE,IT WAS HER CHOICE TO HIT THE PONY SHE KNOWS WHAT HE/SHE IS LIKE,THE HIGHEST I JUMP IS 2FT AND I'M 14.SHE DONE REALLY WELL,YOU LOT STILL TAKE THE MICK OUT OF PRO RIDERS SO NOT A 8 YEAR OLD GO AND PICK ON SOMEONE YOU OWN SIZE.

  • WOW she is amazing!

  • WOW she did brilliantly! I have been riding for only a short while because my cousin got me into it and even im not that good. I cant wait till I can canter into the jump like that. She did fantastically and I dont see how people can really criticise this. I thought she did really well. Ignore the negativity. Thanks for posting. It was cute :D

  • umm shes 8 guys.... calm yoselvess

and fieldhockeyandhorses you are being soo nice to everyone no matter how annoying and ridiculous they are being! :)

  • @dildon13524 thank you!!!!!!

  • She was on the wrong lead. Not collecting her horse, spurs and crops is cool.. but choose between.

  • I'm eleven, my ponies a 12hh cow. we can't jump that lol x

  • If you don't know when your on the wrong lead I don't think your ready to jump let alone show. Its just a waste of money cuz ur never gonna pin if your horse never gets the right lead.

  • 0:41 :(((

  • shes 8 let it go this looks like its just a barn show. and u dont know how stubborn the pony is! btw good job on the combo. and a trainer wouldnt let the girl wear spears unless she thought it was nessisary and she could handle it.

  • shes 8 let it go this looks like its just a barn show. and u dont know how stubborn the pony s!

  • im 10 and i jump over 3foot 2 in the jumping arena

  • Naaw what a good pony and rider! :)

  • i'm sorry....but is she wearing spurs?!?

  • @ushievans i think she is! i never noticed that before!

  • @ushievans ya she is

  • I was jumping that at 4 !!

  • @kayleight1996 damn! haha, u must be a pro!! :)

  • @kayleight1996 pfff i'm sorry but i do not believe u

  • @equine247 lol ok then dont i have my own pony when i was 3 lol

  • @kayleight1996 ? ok???

  • @kayleight1996 well good for you? no one wants to hear you brag.

  • @kayleight1996 some people dont start riding till much later on. if you were jumping that when you were four (which i very much doubt) and started riding when you were 3 lets say, then they where jumping that when they were 8 they may have only started at 7.

  • @kayleight1996 doubt tht

  • why is she fricken whipping it!!! thats soo mean! the horse is doing fine. theres no need for that. i hate animal beaters!

  • @haileybabey101 yeah, i dont think it was needed either. but on the plus side, she's probably too big for the pony now and hes chillin in a field, retired :)

  • @fieldhockeyandhorses ahaha this is truu. yaay pony! :)

  • @haileybabey101 u know nothing about riding

  • @randompineapple21

uhm okay, ive been riding for 5 years, and have never had to use a whip. u dont even know me..shut up

  • ok i swear i did NOT write that!!! my account must have been hacked. i'm realllllyyyyy sorry. i'm a nice person but i didn't put that!!! pleeeeeeezzz believe me

  • @haileybabey101 i think for the lead changes but i dont know....

  • @haileybabey101 its not mean when you give a pony or a horse a little tap. ya sure, that smack in the vid wasnt necessary, but remember that this is an 8 year old. that wasn't some sort of brutal beating she gave the pony. it was barely anything at all, and if you're referring to riders as "animal beaters", especially 8 year old children, then maybe you need to educate yourself a little more on whats right and wrong when it comes to the use of whips and crops...

  • @eventer176 maybe i exagerated..hell, sue me! im am quite clear on the uses of crops and whips. as you said " the smack in the video wasnt necessary"..so maybe as an 8 year old, if its not necessary then it shouldnt have been done. and if at age 8 shes using it un-necessarily..then she should be the one "educated a little more on whats right and wrong when it comes to the use of whips and crops" thanks for your input :)

  • @haileybabey101 ok i swear i did not write that!!! my account must have been hacked. please u have to believe me. i'm really a nice person i swear!!!!!

  • Wow that's talent.

  • that pony has an uber cute front end!

  • SO CUTE

  • @elleca321horsesrock Yup! She is extreamly knowledgable and good about all that. Bending, making your horse supple, collection, leg yielding, all that jazz. But Its probably because she rides very regularly, at least 4 times a week. And gets lots of lessons.

  • @elleca321horsesrock I disagree... If they have enough skill it doesnt really matter. My best friend has been riding for 2 years, she is 13, and she has jumped 3'6 and places in first at shows. Because she is natrually talented, thats all that matters.

  • where is this? i swear i know this girl

  • WHY do people always argue the height of the jumps in videos..they WILL ALWAYS look smaller on camera....and fyi, those are 2' to me..

  • @thebigdirty089 thank you!

  • you was attached to the saddle ?

  • well, sorry to burst your bubble but first of all that pony isnt that small, and second, those fences dont look like 2ft, I've jumped 2 ft verticals and thats not how high they were. But I adore the girl riding, she did a very good job!

  • @harringtonkaylee97 the pony was like 12/13ish hands, which i consider small, and it was a two foot class, so i assume they are all around two foot

  • Pretty amazing for being so young. She looks for her jumps, waits for the jump and doesn't overjump it or get left behind. The pony could use some tuning up by an experienced rider, but they did pretty darn well!

  • the ponys not that tiny

  • thts not a tiny pony lol i jumped tht high when i was eight

  • wow amazing i could only jump a 1 ft at the age lol

  • awwww shes amazing, but you might wanna work on those flying changes
