Rampage winning aside from a lucky strike is abysmal chances for the former champion. They tell you going into a fight. You have to knock out the guy to win, that isn't easy and Rampage would have lost his last 3 fights if that was the case. I'm ruling out Rampage submitting Jones, doesn't seem likely. Ref Pride FC: The proof is in the pudding. Check the records of UFC fighters that fought in Pride. Excluding Mark Coleman, most of them got tooled in Pride. Prime Chuck Liddell (1-1 in Pride, no titles), prime Randy Couture wasn't even in Pride. his JMMA experience had to be done in RINGS. He went 3-2 in JMMA, never even one a RINGS tournament. Prime Ken Shamrock went 1-3 in Prime. Prime Royce Gracie went 1-1-1 in Pride, accomplished nothing in JMMA. Don't believe the hype!

So it's very dumb to compare that when of course most fighters would choose to go to the place that offers them more cash. Wanderlai was practically one of the face of pride, went to the UFC, got destroyed by vitor enough said. At least those ufc fighters got a win, can't say the same to wanderlai LOL. UFC > Pride mad?.

@Gurpreet25 My point was that a lot of the top UFC fighters tried JMMA during the Pride days and most of them got beatup or accomplished next to nothing. There were not guys learning or one the downside of their careers. It was guys like Chuck Liddell, Randy Couture, Shamrock, Gracie, in their primes. How do you explain these guys getting their asses kicked if the UFC was the top of the food chain at the time? Mark Coleman was the most accomplished and Fedor destroyed him 2x times in Pride.

Pick any UFC fighter you want from the Pride era that fought in JMMA and take a look at their record in JMMA. You will find that with few exceptions they accomplished nothing at best or just got destroyed. Pride was the top MMA promotion of its era. This attempt by Zuffa to rewrite history is dumb.

The fact that no UFC fighter during that time transitioned to Pride and accomplished anything proves that. Dana White just said Fedor never fought the best. Coleman was a UFC champ before going to Pride where he got stopped 2x times by Fedor. Coleman then went on to fight again in the UFC. That sounds like rewriting history to me.

Rampage winning aside from a lucky strike is abysmal chances for the former champion. They tell you going into a fight. You have to knock out the guy to win, that isn't easy and Rampage would have lost his last 3 fights if that was the case. I'm ruling out Rampage submitting Jones, doesn't seem likely. So only a knockout will win it, not easy. This being that Jones will out score Rampage any given sunday.

american mma and japanese mma are radically different. In the usa they see mma as a mainstream sport, like basketball or football as in the only thing that counts is victory. In japan, you can loose 15 fights straight but if you are entertaining then you will always have a job. Jmma is a lot closer to wwe in the whole "ambiance" however they fight for real (stomps, soccerkicks, etc) Imo Pride>Ufc

B.E. Here: you guys are right in boxing you get way less injuries than in MMA. the main reason is because of wrestling. When I trained jiu jitsu in those two years I got more injuries than in 12 years of training boxing. the main injuries is of course broken hands for good punchers, shoulder, and back, but for MMA and wrestlers is fuckin everything, BUT trust me it's way easier to compete in MMA with injuries than in boxing, thats why if Haye really hurt his toe his loss could be somewhat believ

To say Tito has no ground game"Ju-jitsu" is wrong. Tito has only lost to submission twice in his whole career and that was ove ten years ago in the late 90's. Tito try's to beat you with his fists 90% of the time. Remeber Tito came very close to sumiting Lyoto Machida but I never hear anybody give him credit for that.
