Another genius song by John. A classic. I makes me happy to see my 10 yr old son listen to this and sing it. I did the same in '68. Of course, back then the Beatles were gods. But who directed this video? Looks horrible. Must have been Paul. Don't get me wrong. He had lots of talent, but directing videos or film was not his strong point. Take care all and enjoy the music.

I have to say, it is cranberry sauce, after listening to this song so many times. You kind of have to hear it the right way. But it does sound a lot like, I buried paul. Actually I have think that Panic at the Disco was making fun of this in one of their songs. I know a lot of people are gonna flame me for saying that. But at the end of one of their songs, it seems as though they change the entire meaning of it with the sound at the end of their song.

There were rumours around at the time Sgt Peppers Band album was released that Paul Mc Cartney had been killed in a car accident. If you turn the front cover of Sgt Peppers upside down you see the words are numbers. The numbers were the telephone number to the London Morgue..

However, many deejays were promoting "Strawberry Fields" as the A-side, as I did. Others promoted "Penny Lane" as the A-side. Guess it was a matter of personal preference.
