  • Thanks friends!

  • Ainnnn,que lindo issoooo!!!!! :)

  • Какова цена такого инструмента?

  • Beautifully played, sir!

  • men this is awesome. . I almost cry. . i had a lute guitar too. . but it is a victim of the 1800 german tendence of converting lutes to guitars. .anyway sound is excellent men!! did you wrote music sheet. . tab or something for this? would you share it??

  • Thanks @aarsteusrino I'll try to find it - I moved too many times...

  • @AndreiKrylov yes yes try cause it worth it its great music :) best regards and wishes from mexico!

  • Sehr gut aber es ist doch keine Laute, sondern eine Guitarre, klanglich und nach dem Spiel zu urteilen! Capo d'astre sollte an die 3. Lage angebracht werden, um der Laute angepasst zu werden wohl... Vielen Dank.

  • Great playing. I never seen anything like this before. Custom made guitar-lute?

Any what music is that? Title suggest it's da Vinci's work but I didn't know he wrote any music...

  • Thanks @Max0Inq , yes it is custom made guitar lute, and I don't have it anymore...

This is a free transcription of "allegro" from "sonata" for flute and basso continuo by Leonardo Vinci

  • The other Leonardo Vinchi... google him.... great Renaissance music.

  • Your right-hand position creates an excellent sound.

  • Thanks for keeping this posted. Hadn't heard it in a couple years.

  • This is a free (very free) transcription of "allegro" from "sonata" for flute and basso continuo by Leonardo Vinci.

    Anyway very beautiful work.

  • your performances are wonderful!!

  • Allahu Akbar!!

  • a lute guitar? looks like a classical guitar with a different body..

  • Bravo!

    - Hans

  • I love this song, your style is wonderful.

  • Большое спасибо !

Дежурный вопрос: что за струны ?

  • Нейлоновые... это записано около 10 лет назад, струн не помню...давно уже и нет этого инструмента...

    Всего доброго

    Андрей

  • thanks, you are a virtuoso! Great, tak drzhat!

  • I'm Italian...probably you mean "scherzo" and not skerzo (k doesn't exist in italian alphabet) which means more or less "joke".

And it's "Vinci" not Vinchi. ;)

    Amazing song by the way!

    Ciao!

  • That's a great instrument!

    I didn't think Rick Wakeman played a lute-tar.

  • Thanks, that was really nice

  • Lively music. I like it. Thank you.

  • a great moment with you Andrei !

    thanks,

    fabrice

  • Are you using a pick-up of some kind through a sound board to get the reverb?

    Sounds great!

  • Thanks for your comment.

Yes I had a pickup and used microphone and reverb as well when I played this instrument.

  • This is a good use of the instrument, I owned one exactly the same (scalloped fretboard, staved back) briefly - it went to a Canadian player. The Russian tuning of seven strings, DGBDgbd, is similar to old English guittar and French cistre and it's a joy to play baroque and galante music on. It is extremely difficult to play this instrument standing up, let alone play it as fluently as this. On hearing this, I regret parting with my Russian guitar!

  • Is this a 7 string Russian guitar? And is the tuning similar to say a 7 course renaissance lute?

  • It is a seven string Russian guitar, Russian made (not expensive) and the tuning is not the same as Renaissance lute, it is as mentioned unless Andrei has retuned it for a special purpose. The normal Russian guitar tuning (same for Polish seven-course guitar) is an open major G chord, but this does not mean the compositions tend to stick around G. In fact most are in minor keys.

  • this beautiful, very lively

  • This is just great playing and music , reminds me of Julian Bream . Man your great never stop playing ever.

  • Pure sound, nice tone and a different lute.. Thanks for your posting.. balshoi spasiba.. :)

  • What can i say no1 has yet... hermoso? lol thx for your art.

  • Wow, very nice performance, clean sound, and really smooth playing, bravo!

  • Applause again!

  • Thanks!

  • Applause!!!

  • Very beautiful! And a very interesting instrument, I've never seen a lute guitar before. Now you've gone and made me want to buy one ;)

  • Amazing. Please post more of your playing this Guitar in a lute's body, as I am purchasing one myself very soon and would love to see more videos of one being played.

  • Holy crap, it's Ian.

Say Andre, even though you don't have a score can you remember the name? I'd very much like to learn this song.

  • It's called Skerzo, I think, Kyle... just look at the title.

And man, the lute-guitar I'm bidding on just got to $510! I am still the high bidder, though ^_^

  • Positively BRILLIANT!! Bravo!! Is it possible to purchase the score for this piece? Many people get confused thinking it was by Da Vinci. But it is likely by Leonardo Vinci, (1690 - 1730)Italian musical composer, best known for his operas. wikipedia,org/wiki/Leonardo_Vinci

  • Thanks for your comment.

    Sorry I don't have a score.

I learned that piece 30 years ago and lost score.

You are probably right about composer.

  • I wish I could play a lute.

You have a talent to be envyed and loved.

    Beautiful music

  • are the strings double and tuned like the guitar?

  • No, single. I could have 8 strings on that instrument.

I use a lot of different tunings but for this piece - yes it is the standard tuning EADGBE

  • Музыка изумительная. И играете Вы, сколько могу судить, замечательно. Но кто же автор?

  • Spasibo. Kogda-to let 20 nazad ya videl ety piesy v sbornike pod imenem Leonardo da Vinchi.

Togo sbornika y menya net. Zapisal na video po pamyati.

Poetomy ne mogy ykazat izdatelya sbornika.

  • It was a Lute Guitar. Original instrument.

  • lute sounds a lot like a classical guitar

  • Beautiful music.

  • Wow, Thank you so much for posting this! I've never heard a lute before and was curious about how it sounded; you sure gave me a beautifully flawless introduction. Thanks again.

  • I really enjoyed it. I mean, I really liked it.

I think that if you played more with dynamics you'd become FUCKING AWESOME.

    5/5

  • Bravo! Thanks for sharing your music.

  • Thanks for your comment.

Da Vinchi was in a score. I'm not a musicologist - I'm a performer and composer, but this piece sound for me almost like a baroque music. The score I had (25 years ago) was published in USSR. Usually editors knew what they publish... But who knows?

  • Hello, why don't we see the comments, only your responses ? This music is very nice but is not by Da Vinci. (even if written on a score)

  • Fine playing! Is the piece by V.Vavilov?

  • Thanks for your comment! please check my other videos.

  • Great piece of music and an excellent performance.

  • very sweet sound. i really enjoy it.

i added you to my favorites, great music.
