  • i wonder why he's songs always make me want to cry

  • ADORE!

  • Am I the only one who thinks this might be the Album version dubbed over some video?

  • @mrgmusicmadman i think you're right.

  • @mrgmusicmadman .....No shit, it's the music video. Read the description.

  • thanks

  • thanks

  • His voice is like that of an angel.

    And this performance?

My mind = Splattered around my front room

  • Unmatched talent. Almost unfair that so much talent can be contained in one person. Epic talentz, Rufus haz it.

  • It makes me want to cry. So awesome.

  • There aren't enough superlatives for this genius - one of my all time favourite performances <3

  • rufus your an amazing passionate individual and i love the mix .marion walsh.uk

  • So sick that i havent been able to see him live yet. Something about his music that makes me shake off the others and always come running back to him.. He never bores me.

  • a real artists talented...pure spirit and music awesome style

  • Pedophilia.

  • loving the like to dislike ratio :D

  • Where has he been all my life =P I just ''found'' him last week.... Shame, shame...

  • camera work kinda pissed me off

  • I love his music and he is so Beautiful <3 :)

  • Just awesome, can't believe i have wasted time and only just discovered him. What a joy to listen to and to watch :)

  • Love the trumpet solo!

  • How gorgeous!

  • Love the way this song makes me feel within the first few lines. Enjoyed seeing him a few months in Oxford. Fantastic. Art teacher is fab also.

  • This song is absolutely glorious.

  • Rufus Wainwright has voice control, sings well, imho; however, I like the beautiful child in the following url a lot better. What do you think? Perhaps he could again get those people who shot the video and a beautiful child like the one in the following link: What do you think?

  • That's a great song. It's about time you thought about producing a musical/film.

  • its so annoying that now the internet has fuckin commercials. ugh. anyyyway, his voice is incredible

  • Love rufus his voice like crying in the wilderness

  • @bangmelove289

Normally, I'd make fun of this sort of comment, but it is completely true in this case.

  • can i marry him? or just his voice? please <3

  • WHAT a voice.

  • what a great voice! ... one of my favorites songs

  • Oh I love this song! More like this Rufus please! xxx

  • Apparently this is the album version.

Great songwriting and great performance. Almost impossible to achieve this kind of sound in live performance.

  • @ca95f I agree vehemently. I've seen him with less production and with his voice and compositions, he fills up any hall with melody and rhythms that are very odd but sound simply while they are very difficult (coming from another singer/composer). He is brilliant at what he does and we enjoy the same muses or so I am told. (Wink)

  • i would probably pee my pants if i saw this live.

  • @Marooth It is beyond words to see him live. I saw him many years ago, shortly after Poses was released, @ Oberlin College in the chapel there. It was a tiny place with incredible acoustics. I cried most of the show because it was that wonderful. If you have the chance to see him live, take it. You won't regret it!

  • @kantal113 Honestly no way i'd rather spend my time

  • Helluva voice!! He also has really cool color-changing eyes.

  • Rufus digs into your demons and cleans them out with his stunning voice and notes!!!

  • no: this is the recording

  • Rufus is such a talented and accomplished musician. This is wonderful. Thrilling.

  • how I adore rufus.

  • i hate vevo! but i love this song!

  • agreed! hate vevo. love this song!

  • @josh5676 and w3rz56: Please excuse my ignorance, Why hate Vevo O.o?

  • Dear Arielewen78, I'm going to proceed with gentle regard for what I'm going to assume was an earnest curiosity. In my experience when a profit-seeking corporate presence enters an otherwise harmless playful area of the internet--an area that flourished on account of the freedom, usability, and content--there is (if not an entire overhaul & disappearance as in Imeem) a certain...

  • slimy, noxious, THING lurking in the shadows (changing the nature of the initial experience) watching, taking notes, preparing for ever-more suggestive and slippery manipulations meant to cajole and rearrange our passions into profit.....our play is tainted, our amusement is poisoned.

  • In my mind, it's like this: let's say there's a park we love. The presence of reckless profit-mongering come to the park is not a rainstorm so much as a creepy child-molestor suddenly sitting across the street watching for days on end. Things just aren't the same anymore. Even if it's a small presence, the difference is radical.

  • If the content, freedom, and usability aren't completely changed, there's suddenly this self-satisfying ego-maniac running around saying, "look at me! this is mine!!! you owe me!!!" and then they stand too close, hovering.

  • @Arielewen78: What's your experience with Vevo? Has it been mostly harmless and helpful?

  • WOW

  • Truly an impressive performance!

  • Such a good song.
